"Hey Lisa!" I said into the phone. "Hey hon. Are you on your way?" She questioned. "Yep. I am on my last flight. Is everything ready for tomorrow?" I asked hopefully. "Everything is set in place and he has no clue." Lisa told me. It made me smile. "Okay. I just wanted to check in. I have to go, but thank you Lisa. It means a lot." I told her. "Of course, hon. Have a safe flight. We can't wait to see you. Bye." "Bye." I said and then hung up the phone. I took my seat again. And couldn't stop smiling.

My name is Allison Carter. And i have been with the Army for 13 years. In 2011 a little before Chris's Captain America movie came out i was sent to Iraq, and i have been there for three years and haven't talked to Chris or anyone from home during that time. I am a sniper and look out for the Army.

About a month before i was supposed to get out, i was captured. I was tortured and beaten to try and get information. But i never said a word. About a month ago my unit found me and took me back to the base. And now i am on a plane that is taking me back to Boston. And tomorrow is Christmas so i am surprising Chris.

I had Lisa tell everyone besides Chris that i was coming home. So, i can't stop smiling about seeing my best friend. Knowing Chris he is going to never going to let me go again. I am going to call it now that when he leaves to go shoot a movie again he is going to ask me to go with him, me and Scott have money on it.

The plane landed and surprising there was no snow yet. I really hope that it snows tomorrow so we can have a white Christmas. I get my bags and get a taxi. "So, where you coming from?" The driver asked. "Iraq. I haven't been home in three years. So i am surprising a friend. Just coming home from the Army." I said with a smile. "Well, thank you for your service. You grow up in Boston?" "Born and raised. I can't imagine being anywhere else." The rest of the ride was quiet.

He pulled up to my parents place and i got out. I grabbed my bags and walked up to the house. I grabbed the key from under the light that was outside and opened the door. "Ma! Dad!" I yelled. I heard a scream and footsteps getting louder.

My dad came first and hugged me. I started crying and my mom came behind me so we were in a group hug. They pulled away and looked at me. I smiled and mom of course was crying, and dad was trying to keep it in but he had a few tears fall. "Oh, my baby is home." my mother said. "Yes she is." Dad said. "Where's Luke?" I asked. "Right here." I heard a voice from a ways behind them.

I ran over and jumped on him. I wrapped my arms and legs around him and cried in his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me and buried his face in my neck. Luke is my older brother. I am 33 and he is 36. He has always been there for me. I remember when i was in high school my boyfriend cheated on me and i had to hold Luke back from beating the shit out of him. I wasn't worried about Chris beating him up because has never been like that. When i left for the Army saying bye to Luke and Chris was the hardest goodbye. Yes, even over my parents.

"I missed you so much." I said between sniffles. "I missed you too, Al." Him and Chris are the only people in the world that call me Al. At first i hated it but then after them calling me it for over 20 years, it grew on me.

We had dinner and i went up for bed. I was jet lagged and i had to be up early so i could beat Chris to his mom's house. We usually go over around 10:00 but i was going around 9:00 because Chris shows up early.

I got up and took a shower. I got ready in this for today.
