THREE MONTHS LATER
ALLY IS FOUR MONTHS PREGNANT

I still haven't told Chris about the baby yet. I had definitely started showing, so my clothes consisted of a sweatshirt and lose jeans or sweat pants. I wore my jeans to work and sweatpants at home or anywhere else.

Luke and Olivia had gotten engaged a week ago. They knew it was quick but they didn't care. They loved each other and want to be together. Their engagement party was tonight and i didn't want to go but i knew i had to be there for my brother. Yeah, i know that i should tell people but the only people that knew was still just Jane. I hadn't even told my own parents. I loved this dress and i knew it was perfect for tonight. I was glad it didn't show my bump. (Above)

Luke told me that Chris wouldn't be here tonight. It was the only way i was going to show up. He promised me.

It's around 6:15 and the party starts at 6:30. It was at my parents house. I didn't want go out. But i knew i was going to be there for my brother and friend. I got in my car and took a deep breath before driving towards the house.

There was some traffic so i got there around 6:50. I took a few deep breaths and grabbed my purse and got out. I walked through the cars and didn't see Chris's so my brother held up his end. I walked up to the door and threw on a smile.

I opened the door and saw Luke and Olivia talking to some friends. I waved when Luke looked over. He smiled and walked over to me. He pulled me into a hug and when he pulled back i pulled the front of my dress a little. "I'm glad to see you, Sis. And you are finally out of sweats. Calls for a celebration!" he said and grabbed two glasses of champagne. I shook my head when he tried to hand me one. "No thanks. I have to drive home." I said. "I think one glass wouldn't hurt." He told me. "I'm okay. Thank you though, Luke." I smiled.

Olivia walked over and she was in the beautiful dress.

"Well, now i feel under dressed

"Well, now i feel under dressed." I said and gave her hug. "Oh, nonsense. You look beautiful." She told me. "Thank you." I replied.

We walked to the back and talked some. No one seemed to notice my bump, thank god. We turned and started walking to the kitchen but when i heard a laugh i am to familiar with. I looked in front and saw Chris standing there talking and laughing with my dad.

He looked over and i saw his face soften

He looked over and i saw his face soften. I turned around and tried to get out. I was saying excuse me over and over pushing through people. I heard Chris following me and calling out my name. I was passing Luke when he grabbed my arm. "What's wrong?" He asked. I yanked my arm from his hand. "What's wrong is my brother lied to me." i said and grabbed my purse and opened the door. Chris was still following me.

When i opened the door it had started pouring outside. Great. Thanks April weather. I started walking when Chris grabbed my arm and turned me to face him. "Please, i haven't seen you in three months let me explain." He begged looking in my eyes. I saw his gaze look down my body and freeze at one spot. I looked down and saw that i was drenched with water. The dress was sticking to my body and you could very clearly see my small bump. He looked back at me and i was trying so hard to keep my tears back.

I heard a gasp come from someone and a few oh my gods. I looked over and saw Luke, Olivia, Mom, Dad, Scott, and Lisa standing there under a few umbrellas looking at me. When i saw their faces i felt like i had let every single one of them down. I felt like was disappointing them. I took off my shoes and turned around and started running down the street. There was no one on the road. I turned back and saw Chris standing in the middle of the road watching me run away.
