Nine

I started waking up and i opened my eyes. I smiled once i remembered what happened yesterday. Me and Chris were laying on our sides and he had his arm around me. I looked at the night stand and saw the time. It was 9 in the morning and i had to get out of bed. I tried to move Chris's hand without waking him but once i moved one finger off me, he groaned and pulled me to him. I tried again but he moved his arm down and his fingers were on my back and there was no way i could get out. But then the best plan came to mind. 

I turned around to face him and put my hand on the side of his cheek and rubbed his cheek a little. I saw him smile and i leaned in and kissed him. He kissed me back and i didn't pull away until i felt his fingers loosen and i pushed him back and got out of bed. "What was that for?" He asked still half asleep. "I have to go. I have a breakfast to go to with your sisters, your mother, and my mother. And i was supposed to be ready right now and i am not." i said struggling to get my shoe on. I sat down on the bed and put the other one on. I could feel Chris moving but i didn't know where until i felt his beard start tickling my shoulder. He was leaving pepper kisses on my neck and shoulders until i let out a laugh. "Why are you laughing at my kisses?" He asked as he put his arms around me. "Because your beard is tickling me. Now i have to go." i pulled out of his arms and turned around. I gave him one more kiss and ran out the door. 

I got in the car and made it home. I walked through the door and everyone was in the living room waiting for me. "I will be ready just give me a minute." I said and then ran up the stairs. 

I took a super quick shower and threw on a pair of jeans and sweater. I brushed my teeth and went downstairs and put on my shoes. "I'm ready!" i said. "Damn. That took you less then ten minutes." Carly said looking at her watch. "Yeah. Well i only had ten minutes to get ready for years. Ready?" I asked and everyone stood up. 

We drove to the small cafe and got a table and ordered our food. "So, i am going to guess last night was a good night." My mother asked but she was implying that me and Chris slept together. "Mother!" I gasped. She just laughed. "What happened last night?" Lisa asked. "I went to Chris's house." I stated and Carly and Shanna had a giant smile on their face. "I know i shouldn't say this but, did you finally hit my brother." Carly asked. "Why does your guys mind go straight to that?" I asked them. "Because my brother has been in love with you for years." Shanna said. Carly hit her shoulder because they didn't know that i already knew that. "Shit. He's gonna kill me." Shanna stated. "It's fine, Shanna. No, me and Chris did not sleep together. Yes, i know that Chris loves me. Yes, i told Chris i love him. Yes, me and Chris are now together." I told them.

They all tried to keep them self's together since we were in public. They all smiled very big and started shaking their hands with excitement. I laughed at them and we talked all the way through breakfast. I told them what happened in New York and what happened at Chris's. And they were very happy for us. 

Once we were done with breakfast we went to the mall like we planned and shopped for about four hours. It was a lot of trying things on but not getting them. After we were done me and Mom were supposed to go home but she pulled up to a building i didn't know. "What are we doing here?" i asked her. "I was looking for apartments for you. And i found this place. Come on let's go see it." We got out of the car and we started walking in. "You really want me out of the house don't you?" I asked. She just shrugged. 

We looked around it was very nice. It had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a nice living room/ kitchen area, and it was a very open space. It was in my price range and i said i would keep it in the running, even though i haven't seen a different place. After that my mother showed me three different places all across town. Chris texted me and asked me where i was and i said i would be back later and that my mother roped me into apartment shopping. We saw four places, but the first one was still my favorite. I liked it more because it was closer to mine and Chris's family's places. Also my brother had put an offer on a different apartment in that building. 

After the last place we swung back around and i put an offer in on the first place and the land lord said he would let me know in a few days. Mom took me back to the house and i went and picked up Chinese food for me and Chris. 

I knocked on his door and he opened it and i walked through and went to the kitchen. I was so hungry. I got to the kitchen and started taking out the food when hands wrapped around my waist and a face was buried in my neck. "Hello, to you too." Chris said resting his head on my shoulder. "Sorry. My mother refused to feed me after breakfast this morning. Then dragged me to look at apartments. Hi." I said and smiled. I turned around and he kissed me. I pulled away and turned back around and went back to get food out. 

Chris got plates and i started putting food on them and Chris got beers. I gave him his plate and we went over to the couch and turned on a show. I told Chris about how i put an offer on an apartment and how our parents want proof that we are together. 

He got out his phone and turned on his camera. He kissed me and took a picture of it and sent to our family group chat. We had a chat with my family and Chris's. Everyone was freaking out and Luke said that he was so happy so now he doesn't have to watch us not see the fact that we liked each other. He said he has seen it going on for years upon years. 

Chris turned off his phone and moved me on his lap. He kissed me and we started making out like we would when we were in high school. Not with each other back then but with other people. We stopped and got to bed. I couldn't believe i was finally able to call Chris mine. I loved him so much.
