"Mom?" I yelled from my bedroom. I had just finished unpacking everything I had into my now, neat room. I managed to hang my curtains without falling, thankfully, I placed my plants all over my room and added finishing touches everywhere needed.

"Yeah?" She yelled back from downstairs.

"Could I run to the mall to get some new clothes for school?" I plead. I waited a few minutes standing in my doorway, listening for a response.

"Sure." She called back. I quickly turned around and grabbed my jacket to throw over my t-shirt. I quickly glanced at myself in the mirror. I was wearing a black and white striped tee, black joggers, a black lacy bralette and a jean jacket. My wild red hair was cascading in waves over my shoulder and my blue eyes looking back at me nervously. Deciding that I looked fine, I grabbed my keys and phone off my nightstand and dashed out the door.

Once I reach the living room, I saw my mom sitting on the couch, working on her laptop

Once I reach the living room, I saw my mom sitting on the couch, working on her laptop. "Bye, see you later." I said as I gave her an overhead hug. She awkwardly reached up and hugged back.

"Bye honey. Be safe." She responded, her eyes not leaving her screen.

"I always am." I smirked and walked to the front door. I shoved my feet into my black ankle high shoes and left the house. I walked down the driveway until I got to my white jeep. I pulled open the door and slid onto the seat. The engine roared to life and I backed away from my new home.

I push open the double doors, leading me into a big open area with small shops lining the walls

I push open the double doors, leading me into a big open area with small shops lining the walls. I start to walk along walls, looking for a clothing store. I pass multiple people laughing and taking photos. I pass by a group of teenage boys all looked about a year or two older than me. I held my head high and continued to walk pass them. As soon as I did, the strong smell of cologne found my nose and made it sting. I could feel their eyes on my as I passed and when they thought I couldn't hear them they started to make comments on my body. I simply smiled to myself and kept walking.

I finally reached a small clothing store, when I walked inside my first instinct was to go to the pants section. So, I made my way over to the jeans I looked though all the jeans of my size, pulling out anything that looked decent. I then went to the top section.

My pile was becoming so big, a store lady saw and offered to start a changing room for me. I accepted and continued looking. I found lace items, jean items and much more. When I finished I walked over to the changing rooms and looked for mine. Relieved, I saw my name on one of the stalls and walking into it.

I quickly removed my clothing and tried on one of my outfits. I had to exit the changing room to see myself, I walked over the the big mirror where a group of three girls were holding their own little fashion show. "Excuse me." I said politely. They all turned to me, their eyes looking at me with curiosity.

"Who are you? I don't recognize you." The blonde one and obviously the leader of the group asked.

"Oh my names Lydia, I just moved here from New Jersey." I mentioned, smiling coyly.

"Your like, really pretty." One of the brown hair girls asked.

"Oh thanks." I said shyly.

"Um are you starting at West Valley tomorrow?" The other girl questioned.

"Yeah actually, do you guys go there?" I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. I could see the blonde girl silently judging me, but I honestly didn't care.

"Yeah we all do."

"Would you want to hang out with us tomorrow at school?" The brown haired girl said randomly.

"Um sure, I guess since I don't really know anyone here, that'd be awesome. Thanks!" I answered politely. "What are you names?" I said shoving my hands into my pockets of the pants I was wearing.

"Oh I'm Moon, this is Samantha," the girl she pointed to gave me a wave, "And this is Yasmin." She said signaling to the blonde who had a look of disapproval settled over her face. We all spent the rest of the time helping each other with outfits and which shoes went with what. Through all her fake smiles and laughs, I could tell Yasmin didn't like me yet.
