Sam and I walked down the hallway together in silence, I was still pissed at Yasmin for what she did to Aisha and how Sam did nothing about it. After I left Miguel and the man in the bathroom I went to go find Aisha. I found her sitting in the library crying. I went up to her and apologized for Yasmin's rudeness. She told me she didn't blame me, and we talked for a good half hour. She told me how her and Sam used to be great friends until she started to hang out with Yasmin and Moon. We talked about my life before moving to the Valley. I told her about my surfing career and how I write songs. For some reason she was really easy to talk to, so for now, she's the only one who knew about it. When I told her this she smile and said she was honored. She was much more interesting to hang out with Yasmin.
I looked up when everyone started to make pig noises and shouting rude things. My eyes found the reason of all the commotion, it was Aisha. She saw Sam and I, she smiled at me then glared at Sam. Sam turned to me with a questioning glance. "Ill tell you later." I said as we stopped walking because we had reached Aisha who was at her locker.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Sam asked concerned.
"I've gone viral." She answered bitterly, clutching her pink binder to her chest tightly. "How do you think I am?"
"She's a piggy!" Some random girl yelled.
"Shut it!" I yelled back at her, the girl put her head down and walked away.
Both girls, unfazed by my actions continued to talk. "They're mean, But they have short memories, they'll forget." Sam said smiling, trying to break the ice.
"Yeah, well, I'm not gonna forget. Bye Lydia." Aisha slammed her locker shut before she walked off, causing Sam to jump.
"Bye." I said quietly looking at the ground. We both turned around to watch Aisha walk off.
"Heyyyyy." Kyler made his presence know, wrapping his arms around Sam's shoulders.
"Hey." She said. Kyler looked at me warningly. I nodded my head.
"Hey, umm I'm gonna go." I squeezed Sam's hand before walking off.

I walked into the library and over to the history section. Picking out a few books for an assignment I headed to get the signed out. After I was exiting the library when I heard a familiar voice. I walked toward it and sat down at their table. "Hey." I said throwing my bag on the table.
"Hi." Eli responded quietly. I smiled at him, causing him to blush, I smirked and looked at the books in my hand.
"Back to what I was saying." Demetri carried on his conversation from before. "What is the best super power anyone can have?" He asked.
"Super strength" Miguel answered quickly nodding his head.
"Wrong." Demetri said, pointing his pen at Miguel.
"The ability to breathe underwater?" I asked, thinking of how helpful it would be for surfing.
"Wrong, that is so random." Demetri commented.
"What? It could come in handy." I shrugged smirking.
"It's invisibility." He finished. I dropped my smile, confused. "A distant second would be super speed to run away fast." He said looking back at him homework. I scoffed and continued to read one of my new books.
"Run away from who?" A voice asked. I looked up to see Kyler and Brucks standing behind Eli.
"Just go away Kyler." I say placing my book down.
"We were just leaving." Miguel, Demetri and Eli started to get up and grab their things when Kyler grabbed Eli by the back of the neck, keeping him from escaping. I stood up.
"Look at this freak." He said grabbing his chin to get a better look at his lip. I took a step forward to push Kyler off of Eli, but Brucks stopped me. "Shit, what kind of girl would ever kiss this freak?" I lifted my heel and rammed it into Bruck's foot. I took this chance and went to help Eli.
"Leave him alone Kyler." Miguel told Kyler just as my hands made contact with Kyler's body, pushing him off Eli successfully. I grabbed Eli's hand and pulled him away from Kyler and behind Miguel and Demetri.
"What did you say?" Kyler walked towards Miguel, who just looked plain out annoyed. "You haven't had enough Rhea?" Kyler pushed Miguel a bit, causing him to bump into Demetri. Noticing I still had Eli's hand in mine, I gave it a squeeze. His face turned a bright red so he looked down to try and hide it. Miguel didn't say anything so Kyler pushed Miguel's face away. "Get out of here." He said. We all walked away quick, but sadly Demetri didn't make his escape quick enough. He grabbed his backpack off of his shoulder. "You don't want this shit, do you." Kyler held his backpack above the garbage.
"I just threw..." He was cut off by his backpack hitting the bottom of the trash bin. "Yogurt in there." He finished.
"Now it's double dip." Kyler said. I stood there watching this all happen. Demetri reached in and pulled out his backpack which was now covered in yogurt. I let Eli go and Grabbed Demetri's arm dragging him away.
"I'll buy you a new one, just dig out all your work." I sighed walking away with the boys.
"Thanks."
