"Hey bitch." Lucinda smiled at me, I didn't say anything, just looking at her in surprise.

She was leaning against the doorframe, her arms crossed and a duffel bag at her feet. "What did you do. If it was murder I want no part in this. If you robbed a bank I want half."

She chuckled softly, brushing her black hair aside, "No, my mom and I moved here." My eyes widened again. I was not expecting this, I hadn't talked to her since, well awhile I met her when I was away I actually never expected to hear or see her again.

"Uhh.. what's with the duffel bag then?" I pointed down at her bag and she smiled, picking it up and walking inside. "Sleepover! It's been so long since we talked, also, you joined a karate dojo?"

I raised an eyebrow and she shrugged, "I stalked your Instagram and found a video of you competing in some sort of karate competition?" I chuckled softly.

"Yeah I joined a dojo, it's pretty badass the name is Cobra Kai, it's cool I get to hit people." I grinned, leading her over to the living room and plopping down on the couch.

"You do like hitting people. By the way I saw the pictures you have posted with your boyfriend, he's cute." Lucinda said, smirking at me. I narrowed my eyes a little.

"Yeah, he's such a great boyfriend too. Did you know that a girl kept flirting with him one time even though he clearly wasn't into it and I threw a book at her? The corner of it hit her straight on the side of her head, I think her skull cracked." I giggled softly despite what I said, smiling slyly at her, it was a closed eyed smile with a lot of teeth.

"Don't worry I won't get with him. Not after what you did to me after I got with Jake, you broke 3 of my ribs." I just giggled softly again.

"Good because I actually love Hawk and I'd probably kill you." I fixed how I was sitting so now I was sitting criss cross apple sauce.

"Well if he ever did cheat on you with me wouldn't it would be his fault too?" I clenched my jaw after she said this, she is really testing me right now.

"Oh I never said it wouldn't be. I would kill you then him then myself."

After that it was kind of silent, and awkward. I didn't care though, she had to know that Hawk was completely unavailable. I don't care if I come off as psycho she needed to know.

"Anyways, so what's new with you?" I asked her, breaking the silence and looking at her with a small smile, it was a normal smile this time.

"Not a lot, things were kind of boring after you left. We should definitely go out clubbing soon, you know any good places here?" I shrugged, thinking for a bit.

"I think I do, I haven't been to any clubs here, usually just got wasted on my own."

"That's kinda depressing." I rolled my eyes, smiling a little, "Fuck you."

"Why'd you move here?" I asked curiously.

"My mom married her boyfriend, and since he's pretty loaded and has family here my mom decided to just move here with him." Lucinda said, scowling a little, I had heard a bit about her mom's boyfriend, apparently he was a real asshole.

"That sucks. But hey man since he's loaded, if he ever pisses you off just take his credit card and buy yourself a present to feel better." I winked at her and she laughed softly.

"I might actually do that, my mom doesn't even believe me either because he acts so nice when she's around. Or maybe she just wants us to be wealthier and he's the way to do that." I nodded a little.
