————The moment all of us had gotten to the dojo, barely even having enough time to stretch, Johnny had us start doing a bunch of different exercises. Push-ups, sit-ups, knuckle push-ups, and now we were doing burpees.
My legs felt like they were on fire even though I could barely feel them as I dropped to the ground, I'm not even sure what number I'm on I stopped counting at 10. I couldn't help but feel a hint of annoyance towards Hawk, but I knew that he hadn't gotten a chance to tell Sensei when he first got here.
"This all could be over in an instant!" Johnny called out, he was standing at the front of all of us, him and Kreese watching everyone to make sure nobody was slacking off.
"The decisions yours! Who trashed the Miyagi dojo?" The room was filled with the grunts and tired breathes with the students since everyone was starting to burn out. I shot a look at Hawk but he didn't seem to notice, I caught him in the middle of looking guilty and shook my head slightly, how does no one else see this when he's lying to them?
"Ya'll know I'm no fan or the LaRusso's but that sorta bullshit we don't teach in here!" Johnny paused as he walked over and stood next to Kreese looking over to him, "At lease not anymore." He was speaking directly to Kreese, I know he has a feeling that he had something to do with this all Hawk needs to do is confess.
"I'm gonna ask you again! Who trashed Miyagi-Do?"
"It was not me Sensei! I would never disrespect another man's dojo-" Chubs practically wheezed out, I think he's taking this the worst out of all of us. "Shut your cakehole, Chubs!" Sensei cut him off. "I'm not looking for excuses I'm looking for answers!"
Miguel paused his burpees, "Sensei we really don't know who did it." I clicked my tongue and shot Hawk another look, this time he saw me and he looked away from me. If this bitch doesn't confess soon-
"Somebody knows something..." Kreese moved his gaze right to Hawk, "Question is... who's gonna break?" My eyes narrowed at him, is he serious? I looked at Hawk and saw him avoid Kreese's gaze.
The phone in Sensei's office suddenly rang and he went inside, leaving Kreese with us. Mitch walked up to him, "Sensei, we need a water break." He asked, all of us were covered in sweat and it felt like my legs were gonna snap off if I did another burpee.
After Kreese did a double take at the entire dojo he finally shouted, "Two minute break!" Everyone sighed in relief and everyone went to either drink water or rest. I didn't even bother moving and let myself drop to the ground, letting out a small 'umph' as my head hit the mat pretty hard but I didn't care to move.
Tory's head popped up at the corner of my view and she was trying to hold back a laugh as she looked at me. I lifted my arms up, "I don't think my legs work anymore I can't feel them." She chuckled and rolled her eyes, I rolled my eyes back playfully, "You're just being dramatic, come on." She bent down and grabbed my wrists, pulling me up with a surprising amount of strength. I let out a small yelp in shock but quickly recovered, rubbing my legs dramatically before standing back up straight like normal.
Turning my head as Hawk's red hair passing by caught my eye I saw him whispering to Kreese. I saw a look of confusion cross his face before he bowed and walked off, I followed after him.
"What was that about? I thought you said you were gonna tell Sensei, not Kreese." I whispered so only he could hear me, he turned his head, "He's our Sensei too." I rolled my eyes slightly, "You know what I mean. He's the reason you even got the idea in the first place, what'd he say?"
"He said he'll handle it." I raised an eyebrow, "What the fuck does that mean?" Hawk shrugged, looking just as clueless about it as I was. "I don't know but I trust him, he'll handle it." My eyes narrowed slightly at that, "I'm sure he will." Sarcasm dripped from my tone.
