Skye's POV
I slid into the pilots place. If May knew I was here she didn't show it. I slid into the seat next to her. We sat in utter silence for a moment or so. I grew impatient and had to ask the first question.

"So your my S.O.?" I asked.

She turned to me and pulled down her purple sunglasses, "It appears."

"Did you hear about Simmons?" I asked.

She turned back to the sky, "Yes it's a shame. She was a good person to have on this team."

That whole shame thing surprised me. May never shows her feelings. She 'savors it'. Ever sense that, um, solo quest thing, I always forget the name, she's been different according to Coulson.

"Ya. What do you think it's like to be Fits right now?" I asked.

She merely shrugged. I waited a bit just taking in the view. The view if Manhattan as it got closer changed a bit. It went from beautiful to dirt and town like. I sighed and turned back to May.

"Our team is changing." She didn't reply so I went on, "Simmons is leaving. Fits is, well, Fits and our team is being tore apart."

She sighed and flicked a button on the control, "Director Coulson we have landed."

I looked out the window again and with much surprise I realized she was right. She pressed another button that read: cargo door. She stood up and pulled the door open. She suddenly turned back.

"Remember Skye we are thee only agents of shield." She said.

I sighed, "Ya."

I stood up and followed her out of the pilot room. We walked down, past the lab and into the cargo place. Sunlight shined in from the opening. Fit-Simmons were already there arguing. They were bickering about something scientific so I didn't listen.

Percy was there also with Coulson. Coulson was giving him the 'be careful' lecture. He just rolled his eyes and checked his pockets for something. May looked around the room and secured her sunglasses on her face. Trip was there at the moment.

"Everybody ready?" She
asked.

Fit-Simmons stopped their argument. Simmons nodded and Fits shrugged. We all walked out of the cargo hold and walked out to the summer air. A long pole just like the pictures stuck out of the ground. I felt draw to it in a way. I shook my head, bringing me back to the present.

"Simmons will you scan the object for ancient carvings?" Coulson asked.

"Yes, sir." She stepped closer to it and use the devise in her hand and brought it up and down the object, "Fits are you getting this."

He nodded and showed Coulson the iPad. Now days if he worked he didn't really speak. He would show us information and stuff but he wouldn't say anything. I sighed inwardly.

"According to this the markings on this are similar to the ones on Thor's hammer. This thing is from Asgard." Coulson said.

Percy walked around it with his hand in his pocket, "It doesn't look dangerous."

I shook my head, "Many
0-8-4s don't. But one wrong move and bam, we're all blown up."

He nodded understandably, "Can I touch it?"

May shrugged and me, Coulson, and Simmons all piped up, "No!"

He looked a little taken back, "Okay?"

"You shrug?" I turned to May, "He could have killed himself and you shrug?"

She shrugged again, "Thats his choice."

I looked at Coulson to see if he was seeing this. He nodded and turned back to Percy. He was still inspecting it.

"In the picture was I touching it?" Percy asked Coulson.

He nodded, "Yep. What do you know about it?"

"Nothing but if Annabeth was here she could tell you a lot. She actually searched it on the internet. She showed me a picture of it. I think right afterwards we were attacked by a monster." He said thoughtfully.

"Who is Annabeth?" I asked.

He frowned, "My girlfriend."

"Oh." I said sorrowfully.

He shook his head, "What could happen if I touched it?"

A flash back of the time before when we touched a alien object. With the three dead bodies and Simmons almost dying. Now that Ward is HYDRA I don't know weather I should love or hate him for saving Simmons.

"Bad things." I answered finally.

Simmons nodded thoughtfully, "Ya. Coulson can I see that?" She turned to him and indicated to the iPad.

He nodded and held it out to her. She took it gently in her hands. She looked it over. She hummed thoughtfully. We watched her in utter silence.

"It looks like there's an electric current in the object. It's like it's connected to something cause the static electricity reaches out of the top and to the north."

I actually understood her this time, "Thank you for speaking english." I teased.

"Ha ha. We can't touch this object without being zapped so there's no way to move it."

"There may be a way." Percy said quietly.

"How?" Triplet asked, coming out of the cargo place.

I smiled at him, "Ya, how?' He was wearing a generals tux.

"I know a guy that can sorta control the winds and get zapped by lightning with out dying." He said thoughtfully.

"What's his name?" Coulson asked.

"Jason," He paused, "Jason Grace."
