Skye's POV
"Where's Coulson?" May asked, voicing my thoughts.

I looked around the deserted street. I saw movement in the corner of my eye. Trip and Hunter were hobbling with something between them. I studied them more closely, it was Coulson. I glanced at May to make sure we could go over there. She nodded. I dragged her closer.

"What happened?" I asked, gesturing to put him down.

"I don't know. He saw the aliens and had a panic attack. He started muttering, 'its them' who knows what that means." Trip said.

"The man nearly scared me half to death." Hunter said.

I knelt down next to Coulson, making sure May was stable, "Coulson?" I nudged him, "Coulson wake up." He stirred, "Phil wake up!" I said louder.

His eyes flew open. He gripped my arm. My eyes widened in fear. I looked into Coulson's eyes, there were filled with fear. I gulped. I noticed his finger nails were digging into my skin. I tried not to pull away.

"It's them! Skye, its them!" His eyes rolled up into the back of his head.

His head drooped. His hand fell slack. I stared at Coulson in horror, "Please tell me what that was about." I said not taking my eyes off Coulson.

Nobody answered. Percy came over and clapped his hands together, "Well then. . . can I go now?" He paused, "Cause I'll go anyway."

I tore my eyes away from Coulson, "Carry him back and then we'll see." I pointed to Coulson.

We both knew he was going home anyway but we still had all the time in the world, sort of. Percy called over Jason. Jason sighed and sent a whirl wind towards Coulson. It picked him up and within seconds he was floating off. We followed it. Annabeth and Piper fell in behind us. We walked in silence. We finally came up to the plane.

It took some struggles to fit Coulson in bit we managed. Simmons ran over and checked for a pulse and ran some tests. She came back out off the lab. She sighed.

"He's completely fine except that his heart beat is faster than normal but that not a big worry." She said in her cute British accent, "What happened exactly?"

I turned to Hunter and Trip, "I'd like to know that too." I said sitting down.

"Ya." May stated still nursing to her rib.

Simmons rushed over and removed her hand from the wound, "Now that I'm done with Coulson will you let me help you?" She said feeling around the wound.

May nodded slightly. She had refused to be attended to until after Coulson was attend to. I turned back to Trip.

He sighed, "We were heading towards the fight after we heard it. We just finished clearing out the street. A group of aliens came out of the corner. We jumped back but Coulson didn't, he froze. I shoved him back so he wouldn't get stabbed. He fell back against the wall muttering, 'it them' over and over again. We killed off the aliens. I told Hunter to keep watch."

"That sucked by the way." Hunter said.

Trip rolled his eyes, "Anyway, I grabbed Coulson's hand, he turned towards me and starting saying, 'Skye! Skye! Skye, it's them' not kidding you it was scary. He got up and walked out to the street. He was going to get himself killed. I pulled out my icer but I didn't need to use it, he just collapsed on the spot."

"But why me?" I asked.

Triplet leaned back against the counter, "I was hoping you knew that."

In fact I was hoping I did too. I shook my head thoughtfully. Who's them? The aliens? Ah, I guess we'll have to ask him when he wakes up. I noticed Percy impatiently drumming his fingers on the counter. I rolled my eyes.

"What do you think May should we let Percy go?" I asked her.

"I think," She hissed has Simmons poked the rib, "we could let him go. We don't need him anymore."

"There you have it Mr. Jackson, your free to go." I said gesturing towards the door.

He smiled, "Well its about time but I think I'll wait until Coulson wakes up."

Jason grabbed Pipers hand, "Well I'm outta here. I have statues to build and gods to talk to."

Piper nodded, "Well it was going knowing you all." She said.

We all said our farewells. I watched as Jason and Piper shot off into the air. Annabeth turned to me. I looked her in the eye waiting for her to talk.

"I wanted to thank you for being so kind to Percy when I was, well, dead." She said.

I shook my head, "Oh, it was hard." I said sarcastically.

"Well all I want to say was thank you for everything. You helped save the world again. Your a great warrior."

I snorted, "Tell that to May."

She smiled, "I want you to know your welcome to Camp Half-Blood anytime."

"Well I thank you for that." I smiled.

It grew silent. Finally, footsteps broke the tension. I turned to see Trip. He pointed inside.

"Coulson's up." He said.

A nervous feeling churned my gut. I didn't know why. It's not like I'm going into war. I followed Triplet back inside. Coulson was leaning against the counter hands folded together thoughtfully. Nobody was in the room. We entered. I sat next to Coulson.

"You okay?" I asked cautiously.

He turned towards me, "Ya, why?" He asked.

"Well you did just pass out in the middle of the street." I reasoned with him.

He shook his head, "I panicked."

I knew that was a lie, "Coulson you never panic."

He turned on his heal to face Annabeth and Trip, "Can I have a word alone with Skye?"

They both nodded and scurried out of the room. I turned back to Coulson.

"Spill." I demanded.

He put his head in his hands, "Those. . . aliens were the ones I saw in the T.A.H.T.I room. It made me panic that you were going to get injured and something happened inside of me. Memories of that night flooded back to me. I panicked and blacked out." He said looking up at me.

"Coulson I'm fine. We won. The game is over." I said strictly.

He nodded, "Your right let the past go."

I smiled, "Thats the spirit. Now lets go say our farewells to Percy and Annabeth."

We exited the room leaving our past behind.

THE END.
