Chapter 25

Fitz's POV
Memories of the last time we had Loralie at Asgard made me shudder. She controlled me and Ward. She almost took out Lady Sif. It was a freighting moment. With Lady Sif we would've, well, I don't know. Simmons stood next to me. She frowning at the tablet. Coulson's voice brought me back to the present.

"Do what we did last time. Look for robberies and that stuff." He said.

I felt useless. I took the tablet from Simmons. I used my instinct and skill I had left to find things. It showed up a Las Vagus. There had been three robberies already. I swiped the screen and it reappeared on the table. Lady Sif swiped the screen and it appeared on the screen. It was like time was repeating itself.

She looked at it, "We have to go."

We all glanced up at the roof. She followed our gaze. Right on time the sound of Tony's suit filled he air. Coulson ran out of the room and Tony dropped a big sheet of steel on the roof and welded it. I smiled. Once he was done he walked into the plane. His face mask snapped up.

"There you go princess don't I get a kiss." He said to Annabeth.

Percy's face turned red and he slipped his hand in his pocket. Annabeth walked over to him. She motioned for him to come closer. He hesitated but did it. She brought her hand back. Before Tony knew what was happening her hand made contact with his face and he straightened up and snapped his face mask back on. His voice was louder in the suit as he said.

"Fine if you don't appreciate my work then you don't get to see me again." His thrusters started, "Ta, ta." He shot off into the air.

Annabeth waved, "Oh, I don't even want to see you again."

She strut back to Percy where they high fived and fist-bumped. They were a cute couple. I felt a pang of jealousy back quickly shook it away. I would have that someday. I hope.

Coulson came back in the room, "Lady Sif, I believe we were talking about Loralie."

She nodded, "Take me to this La Vogas place."

I opened my mouth to correct her but decided against it. Coulson turned to May. She nodded her head and made her way towards the door.

"Wheels up in 5." She walked out.

Percy said a quick word to Annabeth. She nodded to whatever he said and took Piper's hand and dragged her out of the room. Percy shoved Jason towards me. I flinched instinctively. Fortunately, they didn't catch it.

"Come on Fitz, lets get Triplet and and Hunter. It's about time we had a chat." Percy said.

I took a deep breath. The little devil me appeared on my left shoulder and Simmons appeared on my right.

"Ah, come Fitz join them it'll be fun." The little Simmons said.

"No don't listen to her they'll only make fun of you." The little me said.

I shook my head, "Be gone. How do I get rid of you?"

"That'll do." Simmons said before they both disappeared.

They were staring at me. Percy raised his hand and scratched his head, "Were you talk to us?"

I shook my head, "No. S-Sorry."

Percy took Jason and my arm and pulled us to the lunge room where the boys were chatting, "Tidy up boys it's time to have a man to men talk."

He pushed me and Jason down in a chair and sat down next to me. I sat there quietly. It became quite silent. I knew it they were embarrassed of me. Percy stretched his legs.

"Ah come on tell me about this Loralie lady." Percy said.

Trip and Hunter nodded in agreement, "Ya." They turned there attention to me.

I gulped, "Well. . ." I told the about when she showed up in Death Valley. I told them about me and Ward being possessed. They all shared a chuckle when I told them about Coulson punching me. I made it through the story with only saying um a million times but they didn't care. Once I was done Percy shared the story about him and Jason being possessed. We laughed and told stories the whole night.
