May's POV
"Bang! Bang!" Skye cried behind me.

I noticed a blue light streaming towards us, "Duck!"

We both crouched and the shot flew harmlessly past out head. We stood up again. We were standing back to back. I shot three aliens. I heard the sound of thunder. I looked up to see a lightning bolt struck a giant in the back. I widened my view looking for our allies. I noticed the demigods a few meters away from me.

I dogged a bolt. Skye turned and shot the alien. I turned back to her side and shot three more bullets. I yelled, "Switch!" And we switched sides. I shot three more aliens. A group of ten were surrounding us.

I shot three rapid bullets, "Skye, where's Coulson?!" I yelled over the clash of metal.

"Don't know! Bang! Bang!" She yelled back.

I looked back were I saw the lightning strike. I noticed Thor floating through the air. Not to far away Sif was circling Enchantress. I didn't have long to looked because a spear launched towards my stomach. I jumped back, dropping the gun. I grabbed the shaft and yanked it from the alien. I flicked my wrist and it slammed into its stomach.

Now that's more like it.

I found the trigger easily and shot down three aliens with two beams and turned one of the aliens guts inside out. I had to help Sif. She could handle it herself but I couldn't let her have all the fun. I swung the spear in circles and into aliens.

"Follow me!" I instructed Skye.

I heard a faint murmur of, "Bang. Bang." Suddenly I felt Skye's warm breath on my shoulder. I start to cut my way through the aliens. We got part way and my muscles started to ache. Skye noticed and we spread out and we both swung and shot until we made it all the way through. The aliens were still on our tail until they saw Enchantress and ran back into the battle.

That was odd.

Sif and Enchantress were still circling each other. Sif must've felt our presence cause she shuffled to put herself between Enchantress to keep us hidden. On the other side of them Thor was smashing Executioner literally in the ground. The Cray Plaza stood behind them. I only knew that because of the sign on the side.

I noticed a glimmer of a force field around the Enchantress. I studied it more closely. I wasn't an expert but it looked like the stopped at a semicircle. The glimmer stopped around her back but not her front. I turned to Skye and pulled her behind the corner of the Plaza building.

"You and Sif distract Enchantress. I know how to defeat her." I whispered.

"How?" She asked anxiously.

I shook my head, "Just distract her. Do not give any sign that I'm behind her and be careful. I don't want to see you in the hospital, crippled."

She nodded and ran off. I prayed that this would work properly. But as the whole world knows. . . nothing goes right in plans. I picked up my pace, into a jog, and jogged around the building so I could get closer to Enchantress. I got to her side. I studied the ground and slowly and silently sneaked closer to her.

Fortunately, she was still talking to Sif. I gripped the spear. I wasn't close enough to stab her yet. I looked up at Sif. Our eyes connected, I shook my head and shot her the, don't do anything, look. She forced her eyes back to Enchantress.

"All you want is to win but you won't good always wins." She started off a little shaky.

I took another step forward, "Oh, it's May isn't it? You'll have to try better than that to kill me."

She knew! I lunged forward, thrusting the spear forward. She turned and swung her arm full force. It caught me by surprise sending me tumbling 10 meters away. Pain screamed through my body. I heard and Crack! of something. By the amount of pain in my chest I figure it was my rib. I held my side and bit my tongue so hard it bleed. I spat out blood and attempted to sit up. Spots gathered in my eyes. I noticed the spear a few feet away from me.

I reached out for it but then my world went black.
