Percy's POV
I walked over to the tiny rainbow I made. I threw down my drachma. I cleared my throat.

"Iris, goddess of the rainbows, accept my offering." I said deeply.

The rainbow shimmered. I took that as a sign to continue. I cleared my throat again.

"Show me Jason Grace at Camp-Half blood."

The rainbow image flickered and it was replaced by Jason. I smiled to myself. He had his feet kicked up on a coffee table. I realized that he was actually sleeping on his arm. I cleared my throat.

"Jason?" I said loudly.

He jolted awake and looked around, "What? Who asked?"

"Me." I said.

He turned towards me, "Oh, Percy good to see you man."

I nodded, "Good to see you too but I came here to asked you a favor."

"Which is?" He asked.

"Me and some friends of mine have a, um, object we need to move and we can't touch it. We will be zapped by lightning if we do." I explained.

"And you want me to move it?" He sighed.

"If your not busy." I tried not to push it.

He nodded, "I'll be over shortly." He disappeared off the screen.

I rolled my eyes and under my breath starting counting, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1." He reappeared on the screen.

"Where are you at?" He asked.

I smiled, "Gramercy Park in Manhattan."

He nodded, "Okay, I'll be right there."

He disappeared of the screen and I ended the Iris message. I stepped back and looked around. A chill was in the air. Stars danced in the sky. I took in the moment of peacefulness cause I knew it wouldn't last long. Jason would be here in a couple hours at least.

Skye was sitting on the park bench. I walked over and sat next to her. She smiled politely. I tried to return it but it turned out to be more of a wince.

"Well. . ." She asked.

"He's coming around 11 or 12." It was 10 right now.

"Oh," She frowned thoughtfully, "do you want to have a bunk in the bus?"

I got confused, "Bus?"

She nodded, "The plane."

"Oh," I pondered on that, "no. All I'm going to accomplish is bringing a monster in there to kill you all."

She smiled slightly, "Okay, whatever. You sure?"

I nodded, "Could I borrow a blanket though?"

She nodded, "Yes I'll get you that."

She stood up and walked into the plane. I stared out into the sky. Stars danced and shimmered. I heard a growl behind me. I groaned inwardly. I haven't even been on the ground for two hours yet.

I reached into my pocket and stood up. I got my grip on Riptide. I turned around to face the monster. My first impression was kitten. It suddenly it grew to be twice the size and its skin disappeared leaving a giant cat skeleton. I flicked off the cap of Riptide and yanked it out.

It hissed and pounced. I leapt out of the way. It landed and its bones rattled. Shivers were sent down my back and I stood up again. It swiped a claw at me. I yelped and jumped back. It still managed to grab hold of my shirt in its claw. I let out low pitched scream as it swung me in circles. I heard a scream and things clattering to the ground.

"Percy what is that?" Skye screamed at me.

"Oh. . . hey Skye. I don't know exactly what your seeing but run back inside, I've got. . ." The swinging suddenly stopped and it swung its head towards me, "this."

I swung wildly at the claw that was hooked to my shirt. On the first try my blade cut through the bone and I went sprawling to the ground. I pushed myself off the ground. Skye stood frozen to the spot. I didn't know exactly what she was seeing but I had a feeling that it was monstrous.

"Skye! Skye!" I yelled at her.

He shook herself from the daze, "I'll get May."

"No don. . ." But she was already sprinting back inside.

I sighed and turned back to the skele-kitty. It rattled as it turned to face me. I ran between its legs and cut off its legs on the left side. It shrieked and fell to its side. I ran and cut off the other legs and the monster shrieked and fell to its belly.

"Nice kitty, kitty." A voice said behind me.

I whipped around to see who it was. There was no one there. I glanced around quickly.

"Up here." It said again.

I smiled to myself, "Jason?"

I looked up and of course it was. He smiled at send a gust of wind at the monster picking it up and flying it somewhere else. He landed next to me. His blond almost white hair was ruffled up from the trip. He was muscular like always. His roman tattoo stuck out from under his sleeve.

I embraced him tightly, "Good to see you man."

He smiled, "How've you been?"

"Fine, I guess," I said bringing the mood down a bit but I quickly changed it, "There some people I'd like you to meet."

"Percy?" Skye asked behind me.

I turned towards her and so did Jason, "Jason meet Skye. Skye meet Jason. Skye, Jason."

He smiled and stepped forward. He held out his hand for Skye to shake. She took it. May stood behind her with a frown on her face. I walked over to them.

"Nice to meet you Skye." He greeted her.

She smiled slightly, "Ya nice to meet you too."

"Jason this is May." I leaned closer for only him to hear, "Careful she bites."

He turned to me to see if I was serious. I smiled kiddingly. He smirked and turned to May. She glared at me and crossed her arms. By the look of her face she heard what I said.

"Oops." I muttered.

Skye leaned forward but said it loud enough for only me and Jason to hear, "Don't worry she savors it."

"Savors it?" Jason asked weirdly.

She nodded, "Her anger I mean."

"Oh, that good for now." I muttered.
