Chapter 20

Thor's POV
I placed a hand on Annabelle shoulder. She glanced up at me. She had sorrow in her eyes.

"We need to have a chat. . . Annabeth." I whispered.

Her eyes widened, "How did you know?"

I nodded towards the woods, "Follow me and we'll talk about it." I muttered.

She glanced at Percy and we left for the woods. We walked in for concealment. She watched me carefully. I glanced back to make sure no one was following.

"How do you know?" Annabeth asked.

"The way you look at him. Your absence is driving him crazy. Why didn't you tell him?"

"At first the gods didn't let me out into the world. They knew everyone thought I was dead and wanted to keep it under wraps. When they finally let me go they had me go undercover. They made me dye my hair and put contacts in so Percy wouldn't notice. But then they aloud me to tell him and I got scared."

"Of what? It's eating him up." I said sadly.

She nodded, "I'm afraid he's going to get mad at me or you know."

In fact I didn't know but I nodded my head, "But what I know of Percy and what he has told me he wants and has a right to know."

She nodded, "Please don't tell it'll make him angrier." She said.

I nodded, "If you don't tell him soon I'll do it for you." I warned.

She nodded, "I'm just looking for the right time."

I shook my head, "There never will be."

She looked at her hair and sighed, "Looks like I have some color changes to do."

I nodded encouragingly, "Lets head back before anyone gets suspicious."

She nodded and bound out of the forest. I followed closely behind. My duties at Asgard were calling and I had to go. We came into the clearing. Percy glanced up at me. I placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Farewell Percy my friend." I said.

He stood, "Farewell Thor." He replied.

I nodded to the rest of the team, "Say my good-byes to Nick."

Then I turned to the plane, "If you want this to get fixed up," I motioned towards it, "Tony's your man." With that I opened a portal to Asgard and stepped through.

I was suddenly standing on out rainbow road. I followed it to Asgard. A guard greeted me with a bow. I returned it and entered Asgard. The place was rather peaceful at this hour. I started towards the castle taking my sweet old time.
