2021, January 23rd:

"I can't believe we are already done!" Karina sighed as she pulled the last suitcase to the airport. "It have been four long years. I am bored and want to go back home." I said. "Eh! Y/N you are not fun at all! I wanted to tag along more here before I go back to Korea. You know how the SM family is like.....business is business so I have to work hard or else they will....." Karina made the signature of someone cutting off her neck. "I got you." I laughed as I pushed her ahead and continued walking.

As soon as 2017 started, I traveled to the US to complete my high school education then enrolled in one of the best colleges to study business. On the way, I was introduced to some of the other gangs popular family members, but I hit off the best with Karina.

"Our flight is few minutes from now on, how are you feeling?" Karina asked. "W-Well....I...."

It took me three years to get over Hyunsuk, and for the last year I seldom thought about him. But as soon as it was announced I will be back to Korea, he started coming back to my mind. How was he doing? Was he sad because I left? I sighed as I looked at Karina. "I wish I can stay here." I said. "Me too." She sighed as she lied her back.

I checked myself and smiled as I received a message from Jennie.

'When will you be back?'

'As early as tomorrow morning.'

'Dm me when your free to meet, :)'

"Who are you texting?" Karina asked. "Uh....just...." "Jennie?" I nodded my head and Karina sighed, the two girls weren't on good terms when Jennie figured out that Karina had a little romantic interest in her fiancée, Kai.

During the past four years, Kai dated Jennie and in 2019 they went public with the other mafia gangs and families. Jennie said her family had a conflict about it and that she would tell me about everything when I come back, very soon.

"It was only a dance! We only danced together I don't get why she was mad!!" Karina said sharply. "Anyone would be mad. Imagine your boyfriend dancing with some girl that has an interest in him??" I said and the girl sighed. "Well.....anyways!! When are you planning to date someone? Seriously have you not liked anyone from here?" Karina asked.

I tightened my grip on the bag as I bit my lips and shook my head. "I already closed my heart for any person." I said. "Girl!" Karina hit me hard on my back. "You are still 20! You have a long way to go! Why would you say this and you are still not 40 years old...." She sighed as she turned her head away and I forced a laugh.

I can't risk breaking my heart again. Not after what Hyunjin did.......When Aria left and.....Hyunsuk....

'Flight to Seoul....please head to your airplane at the third lane, I repeat....'

"It's the call for our flight." Karina said as she got up. "Well....yeah...." I said as I followed her. Just how quickly do time pass??

We took our suitcases to their place and only held the small bags with us on the airplane. Hyunjin insisted on booking a first class ticket for me while Karina already had her father's assist. I sat down beside Karina and looked outside the small window as the sky was all grey. The prefect weather.

When I turned around, Karina was already fast asleep. I took out airpods and plugged them in my ears as I scrolled through many songs and chose my favorite song. I closed my eyes as I hummed along with the tones remembering Aria. If she was here, would she be proud of me?

My eyelids got heavier as the fantasies in my mind grew wilder and I drafted to deep sleep.
