2016, November 13:The loud sound of my high heels hitting the ground was heard across the hallway as my long coat was getting pulled behind me while walking in the great empty rooms.
I passed by all the photos for the family hanged on the wall and through different rooms until I finally arrived at a specific hall. I stood for fine few minutes glaring at the shallow old wooden door before holding the knob and opening it.
There in the middle, lied his old figure, half-dead, with many devices connected to him to keep him alive. There were many men in black beside my dad and the doctor, they all stepped back as I walked inside and bent down close to his bed and held his hand.
I rubbed it in circles as I stared at his closed eyes with dead, empty ones and a cold smile was drawn on my lips.
"Father...."
I whispered as quite as possible. Then, I giggled a bit before moving a part of his hair behind his ear and sitting down on the bed. I glanced at his figure again and then laughed making everyone in the room scared.
"I will avenge you....." I said as I held more strongly to his hand that didn't respond leaving quite few notable scars on them.
"Miss."
I turned my head around to see our family butler standing at the door. "Its time." He said.
The smile once again faded as I pushed his hand away and got up. I noticed some files in the butlers hands and pointed at them.
"These....are his files, the man he chose for you." The butler said. I broke laughing as I held to my stomach. This man was funny....very funny.
"He dares to choose who I am going to marry after he killed her?" I wondered as I crossed my hand and my veins almost popped out. "Miss......it was his last wish." The butler said.
I sighed as I grabbed the files from his hand and saw the photo of a dark haired boy. "His name?" I asked.
"Hwang Hyunjin, Miss." The butler replied. "He wants to marry me off to this freak.....huh....he better die sooner so I can fully take over the gang." I said. I placed the photo inside my wallet and then tore the files to pieces and threw them high in the air making everyone gasp. I then had a small grin as I opened the door and walked outside with my high heels once again crashing the ground.
I clearly heard our butler calling my name multiple times, but I am not giving in.
2016, November 17:
I sighed as I parked my car and adjusted my sunglasses. I then got off the car and held my bag to walk toward the gate of hell, school. I plugged in my headphones and turned on the lullaby I always liked to hear, the only thing that comforted me and gave me hope.
Two hands suddenly warped around my waist and I knew who it belonged to. His tall figure almost crashed me down if I didn't lunge back at him.
"Woah......I see you are still strong this year too, Y/N." Duri, one of my best friends said. "As always." I said coldly as I continued walking and he followed me. "You are listening to that lullaby again? You do all the time." Duri said. "It is my only gate away, her humming, it stops me from searching for her again, when she is not by my side anymore." I said. Duri covered his mouth and bowed as if he was trying to apologize and I only sighed as I walked toward my locker and started placing my book there.
I then took out my wallet and picked the photo from it, I turned around but crashed with some girl in the hallway.
"Hey, watch out where you go next time." I said as I shot a glare to the girl. She had long brown hair with brown eyes and fair skin. "Ugh....whatever." She said as she picked up something from the ground and walked away.
