Vanessa's POV
We sat down at the table and looked at the menu.
"The burgers here are great. "He spoke.
"Oooo guess ill try them. "I smiled.
"Great, me too. "He smiled back. "Since were both here, why not get to know each other."
"Sure okay, umm favorite color? "I asked.
"Green. "He answered. "Yours?"
"Pink. "I replied.
"Basic. "He laughed.
"Pink is not basic, who would like a weird color green, its literally grass and diarrhea." I snapped at him.
He was about to snap back till the waitress came making me win the argument for now.
"Are you two ready to order? "The young lady asks.
"Yeah, Two burgers for the both of us, thank you. "Grayson tells her.
"Okay coming right up, you two are such a cute couple by the way. "She smiles.
i was about to say we weren't dating till i hear Grayson say thank you, making me turn my head to him giving him a confused look as the waitress walks back to the kitchen.
"Green still better. "He says continuing the argument.
"Wow, well everyone can agree pink is pretty. "I smiled.
"Like you. "He mumbled trying to make it quiet so i cant hear but i did either way which made me blush. I think he knew cause he started to blush too.
"Well um, how long have u lived here?"i asked.
"A few years, you?"
"So have I haha." I giggled.

Grayson's POV
I got lost into her beautiful brown eyes, she was so beautiful, her dimples will get deeper the more she smiled, the smell of her perfume made my heart sink. I dont even know her that well, but she just feels different and she is.
"Earth to Grayson? "She snaps me out of my thoughts. "Is there something on my face? "She asks me.
"No no, I um was thinking of something. "I answered her.
"What was it about? "She asks me.
"Oh it was nothing. "I take a sip of the random water on the table. "So, any special person? "I asked her.
"Well, there is this guy, he just comes up in my mind a lot which is weird but I think I could be liking him. "She looks at me. My heart sunk, she likes someone already, well dang it, I guess I'm gonna have to just deal with it, I mean what did I expect I only knew her for 2 days!
"You? "she asks.
"Eh, kind of but not really. "I lied, well kind of lied but you get the point.
The waitress comes back and she puts our plates on our table.
"When you two are done, we have a booth for couples and you can take a picture to add to our couple wall." She smiles.
I looked at Nessa, she looked back and she said okay, letting the waitress go back. We started to dig into our meals.
"This is so good. "Vanessa said with her mouth stuffed.
I chuckled." Haha, yeah." I took another bite. "Told you it was good."
she takes a sip of her drink and wipes her mouth with a napkin. "I'm gonna go to the rest room." She says before getting up and walking to the bathrooms. I continued to eat and wait for her.
Minutes later she comes back and finished her burger. "That was amazing, thank you for taking me here." She smiled
"Of course. "I went to put cash for the bill when she pulled up money too. "No no no, its on me." I tell her.
"Noo, u drove me here ill pay."
"No really Vanessa let me pay." I slip the money in the bill.
"But I-."Before she can finish the waitress interrupts her to ask if we wanna take pictures, letting me win this argument. I smirked and told the lady we were ready.
"We aren't dating." Nessa tells me.
"Shh, let the lady be happy okay, we can take this as friends. "I told her, though it kind of hurt when she mentioned we aren't together.
she agreed to the pic and we walked to the booth, we sat in it and waited for the timer to go off, her small hand slid to my waist giving me a side hug and I hugged her back putting my chin on her forehead, both of us smiling at the camera, we saw the flash saying it was taken, we looked at the pic and god I loved it a lot.
"We look..."She started her sentence.
"Cute. "I finished. She looked at me and laughed. Her laugh was cute.
"Oh we should get back its almost time to go back. "She reminded me.
We exit the place and I drove us back.

I packed my things with Nessa, she grabbed her stuff and said bye, I followed her out and go to my car. I saw her walking.
"Hey do you need a ride?" I asked her.
"Oh, um sure. "She walks to my car and I unlocked the passenger seat for her to get in. "Thanks." she looked at me.
She gave me her address and I drove to her house, I wanted to look at her but i had to keep my eyes on the road. I arrived and she said bye, exiting my car as I watched her unlock the door to her house. I waited a bit before driving home. I made it home and parked at our garage. I get out the car grabbing my work bag entering my house and hearing moans from Ethan's room. Him and his girlfriend are having fun again. Sometimes I wish I could be happy with someone but its hard cause they either go for your looks or your money, but I know he found the one. Ethan walked out the room hair a mess and in a robe, he looked sweaty.
"Hey your home, how was work? "He asked getting some juice from the fridge.
"It was good. "I say walking to my room." Hows your sex?"
He laughed." Good. "He left back to his room I guess to finish. I closed my door and took off my shirt. I put my stuff away and kicked my shoes off my feet, sitting at my bed and checking if we had any updates on my laptop, we have another shoot for our wake heart candles. I make sure to put that in my calendar. For some reason I couldn't stop thinking about Vanessa, but she will never like me, after all I'm just her partner and kind of her friend. I shut my laptop and I go at the yard to workout.
