Broke.|chapter 27|

Graysons POV.

I knew it was over after I snapped,I knew by the way she looked into my eyes.But it had to be said.If she kept going on with this argument we would of broken up either way.We do need time,she needs time to check herself.
I stood there as I watch her grab her things and hurried out the room.I didn't know what to say or do.I was shocked but not surprised she broke up with me.I was hurt because I lost someone I loved,but did she really love me to believe things like these.Did someone else start this rumor?
I finally sat down on my chair,thankfully there's only 3 hours left till I can leave and go home.I really don't wanna face her after we just broken up.I continues with my lunch quietly before the classroom phone started to ring.I get up from my seat and I walk over to it,picking it up.
"Mr.Dolan speaking."
"Hello,can you or Ms.Merrell come by to pick up the school activity letter.The school is having a carnival."The lady from the other line of the office replied.
"Yeah I'll come by in a minute."I smiled before they replied with an "okay thank you." And hung up.
I put the phone back in it's phone box and I make my way down to the office.I walk past the teacher lounge and I swear I saw Vanessa in the corner of my eye but I'm probably just hallucinating her.I didn't bother to look and I walk in to see the lady from the phone.She points to my school mailbox and I take out the papers.I thanked her and I walk back to the room.

Finally it was the end of the day.The kids were putting on their coats and I was passing out the sheet the lady in the office gave me.
They placed the paper in there folders before getting up and lining up in front of the door.Vanessa never came back from where she was.I wondered if she went home.I got the two lines and I walked them to the exit.
They all gave me high fives before leaving off to their parents.I walked back in once all the kids had left and I enter the room to see Vanessa putting on her coat,her back turned as she grabbed her purse and turned around facing me.She didn't have any emotions,she just walked past me and left.I walked to my chair grabbing my stuff and exit the building as well,walking to the teachers parking area.I hop in my car and I buckle up,fully ready to go home.
       I park outside my driveway,I'm guessing Ethan home since the lights are on and I can hear his loud bass boosting music from several feet away.I scoff and I exit my car,locking it twice just to make sure and I unlock my front door entering it.
      "IM HOME DIBSHIT!"I shout just to alarm Ethan I'm here.
      I guess his deaf ass didn't hear me because he didn't respond.I walked to my kitchen opening the fridge,by the looks of it we need to do groceries soon.I took out an already opened avocado and i put two slices of bread in our toaster to toast a bit while i mash the avocado.I styles up my avocado toast and paired it with a nice glass of orange juice.I sit at the table and i look up to see a girl coming out of Ethans room half naked as she puts on her shoes and leaves.No wonder his music was so loud,was she that loud?Minutes after she left Ethan came down the stairs and walked in the kitchen shirtless opening the fridge getting out some vegan yogurt.

      "I'm surprised you dont have any stds."I take a bite of my toast.

           He scoffs as he grabs a spoon. "I'm surprised you and your girlfriend haven't done it yet."He snapped at me.

       "Ex girlfriend."I correct him as i sit my back on the chair.He looked at me shocked. "You guys broke up? What why?"He started asking questions like he was trying to solve a mystery.

      "Long story."I get up from the table and i put my dish in the sink and i try to make my way upstairs but Mr assclown stopped me.

     "Hey at least you can have some fun,maybe she wasn't good for you anyways."He grinned.

          "Go fuck yourself."I hit his shoulder with mine as i walk past him and up the stairs to my room locking my door.That fuck face.

       I decided since i dont have much to do,i can go maybe catch up on some friends.Its been a while since and plus it'll be good for me.That gave me an idea to text a bunch of people for a nice little vacation.Thankfully half of the people i texted replied saying yes,i even invited Ethan.We do have two weeks off so it'll be great.I finally picked a place we can go to and i quickly start grabbing my things to pack.

       Here we go!
