I knew you|Chapter 22|

Vanessa's POV:

            I see the one and only Alex. "What do you want from me?"I asked him with my arms crossed."Wow, not even a hello, I'm just here to say that Grayson won't even be as good to you as I was, in fact, you don't even know who he was, so I would watch it if I were you."He tried to warn me."Actually, he's way better than you so please leave."He eyed me up and down before leaving. That was weird but then again, it's Alex.

       Grayson came in and said he had to run to get some stuff since Ethan is busy so he had to leave quickly. I was packing my things up and then I get a text from Roni saying she found our old yearbooks and we should check them out for a video, I agreed by giving her message a heart.I turned off my phone and walked out of the room and out the exit to my car getting in and starting my car.

            I arrive home and was greeted with Tigers presents as he barked at me, Roni zooming at the door. "Finally you're here you have to see our books."She grabbed my hand and lead me to the film room with a bunch of photo albums. "How did you get all of these ?"I questioned with confusion. "Dad, of course, he said it can be good as a video." She handed me a pink book with the title "Vanessa." Across it. "Dad says we have separate books and books of us together."She held out a purple book with her name and showed me a box of others. "How did they even get a bunch of these?" I was shocked by the amount. "Our parents are weird and creative so I guess that's your answer." She took some out. "Ready whenever you are." She had a big smile plastered on her face, I guess we're doing this.

         Dad set up the camera and we were already filming halfway into the video and it was my turn to look at my old pictures. I open my book and cringe from my old fashion and whatnot. Roni and I were laughing at some till she sees one with me and a boy in high school. "That was your first love," Paul explained. Roni looked at me. "That looks like Grayson." I squinted closer. My eyes widen, it was Grayson.Grayson Dolan.

    I look at the picture, observing it and flipping to a few more pages seeing I was with him a lot. I was shocked, I knew Grayson this whole time. He changed a lot from his looks. Then I remember why we broke up at the time and my heart still chatters till this moment.

-flashbacks 6 years ago-

        I was waiting for Grayson but he told me he was sick for our 2 year anniversary, I of course was worried so I went home to make him his favorite soup and other things that can make him feel better. I packed up the things and hopped in my car driving to his house. When I pulled up I saw an unfamiliar car, I didn't think much of it maybe because it was a friend of Ethan's. I knocked and Ethan answered it. He looked at me confused after I told him why I was there but he let me in any way, I walked in front of Grayson's room door and heard weird noises. I didn't think to knock so I just opened the door but I wished I didn't to what I had seen.

          He was there perfectly fine, so fine he was even having a good time sucking Amalia's face off. Amalia was the popular girl in school, she got everything she wanted and I guess she got Grayson wrapped around her little finger. Graysons face turned pale, I can hear the quietness echo in the room as I dropped everything on the ground from shock.

        "Well...I guess you're doing better now."I zoom out of the room running down the stairs and I can hear Grayson behind trying to go after me but it was too late. I was already exiting his house and running to my car as tears swell into my eye. I trusted him but I guess there is no such thing as trust.

-Now-

          I doze out of my daydream realizing a tear had fallen out of my eye as it rolled down my left cheek, my ears ringing from Roni asking me am I okay multiple times. I just nodded my head, "I need a minute." I exited the room and rushed to my room with the book. I remember the months after that entire thing, I was so broken to the point I had to make myself forget by burning everything and I even moved away. Did he know I was here?

      I curled up in a ball on my bed, seeing Tiger jump up joining me. I was dozing off into space till I hear my ringtone going off. I don't bother checking the caller id and I answer it. "Hello?"I speak, kinda wished I looked at the ID after that moment when I realized the other voice on the phone was Grayson.
