Liu bent down next to his brother, whispering something to him that was inaudible to you and everyone else in the room. Jeff nodded slightly at his brothers words. The once silent room now filled with quiet talking, most of it being the adults in the room minus the doctors. You took a look at Jeff, and swore for a split second, you saw him on fire again. You swore you smelt something burning. The agony on his face came back over and over again for a few seconds at a time.

"Y/N?" a distant voice said. "Y/N!" the voice brought you back to reality. It was S/N. "huh what?" you asked, a little light headed. "you're sweating, sissy! Are you okay?" She asked, clearly concerned. You couldn't help but love the little bean that was your sister.

"Yes, I'm fine. Thank you though" you responded. "Do you need a hug?" She asked, before hugging your legs. She looked up at you, her adorableness melting your heart. "I always need your hugs" you say, bending down to your little sisters height before giving her a hug. Her tiny arms wrap around you. Without warning, you put one arm under her and lift her up, causing her to giggle. You began to feel bad for getting so mad at her earlier. You hold her securely and look around, exchanging glances with Jane. You guys did that a lot. She smiled at you before starting a conversation. "Your sister is adorable" she said. "I am adorable!" S/N cheered proudly, throwing her hands up into the air. B/N meanwhile, huffed, crossed his arms, then looked away. He wanted to be held and called adorable too.

"Oh quit that" Serena chuckled, before lifting B/N up. B/N was very satisfied. Liu turned around, and motioned for you to come over there near Jeff's bed. You walked over, more flashbacks occuring, but not as bad. You sat down next to Liu on the floor. Liu stood up, and pulled out the chair before standing next to it. You looked at him, confused. "Well, aren't you going to sit down?" He asked. "I'm fine, thank you, Liu" you respond politely. "Too bad. C'mon, sit down!" he said motioning to the chair. "Seriously, I'm fine. Someone else should have it" you smile because of him being such as gentlemen. "Take.the.chair." he bends down, whispering in your ear. "how about you do?" you turn to look at him. "No.you." you almost want to laugh but you don't. After a bit of you and Liu arguing, Jeff speaks up, shakily. "J-just...." he tries. Everyone looks at Jeff. "T-t....." The doctor gets out a notepad and begins to write quickly, looking from Jeff to his notepad. "J-just ta-a-ake the c-chair Y-Y-Y/N" he finally gets out. "That's the first he's spoke since we got here!!!!!" Margaret cheered.

You were rendered silent. The first words Jeff spoke since his injury were about you. "For you, Jeff" you say, before getting up and sitting down in that chair. "Finally! Stubborn much, Y/N?" Liu looks at you, raising a brow. "Don't talk to my daughter that way." your dad snapped. "Sorry Mr. L/N" Liu apologizes. "Dad he was just playing" you almost roll your eyes. "Whatever..." your dad said before a lot of incoherent mumbling was heard coming from him. You loved your dad, despite him being overprotective, especially when it came to boys. Why he was like that? Well......

~ a few years back when you're 7......~

*-Y/Ns POV-*

I open the door before coming inside my house. "MOOOOOOMMMMMM!" I yell. "Is that my little sweetie?" her voice calls back. I giggle. "Can my friend come inside?" I ask, in my best adorable voice. "Is it alright with his/her parents?" She asks. I turn around to see my friend F/N (Friend name), before he asks "what did she say?" "Is it alright with your parents?" "I'll ask!!" He says, before running off.

A bit later, he comes back. "They said otay!" "Yay! Let's go!" I say, before dragging my friend inside. "Mommy, this is F/N. F/N, this is my mom!" I introduce them to each other, happily. "Why hello!" She smiles. Mom has a rule: "I must know their parents before I can let you go over their house or they come over here." She says it's because of "stranger danger". She knows F/N's parents, though. Just not F/N, somehow. "Hihi!" He grins. "You two go play, alright?" Mommy says. "yayyyy!" We cheer in unison, before running up to my room.

Soon enough, I hear the front door open from my bedroom, and there's daddy! Me and my friend keep playing a game we love called city. It's where you can have jobs, your own house, everything! I'm a (insert whatever job you want to be and if you want to, powers :3). Me and F/N keep playing until we both get hungry. "I'm a little hungry..." F/N says. "Me too! Momma has the best apples! Wanna eat one?" "Sure!" We got up, running downstairs. "Hi daddy!" "Hello mister!" Me and friend greet, before grabbing apples. "Who's this, Y/N?" Dad asks. "This is F/N!" "Hello!"

Dad didn't seem to like F/N. He watched very closely as me and F/N washed off our apples and bit into them.

-A few hours later....-

Me and F/N are playing in the backyard when the backdoor opened. "Guys, F/N has to go home now." Mommy says, F/N's dad standing beside her. "Aww! We were getting to the good part!" He pouted. "I'm sorry guys. F/N has a doctor's appointment. Maybe he can come back tommorow?" "Okayyy" I say. "Bye bye Y/N!" "Bye F/N!" I say to my friend as we approach the front door. Why couldn't his doctor appointment wait? Hmph. The door closes and I look at the floor, suddenly finding it interesting. "Y/N, you can play with him tommorow, okay?" "...." I don't respond.

"Y/N!" Daddy calls, walking up to us. "Yeah?" "Did he hurt you?" "What? No!!!" I say. "You tell me if he hurts you, got it?" Daddy says. "Otay daddy!" He smile.

~The flashback fades away, and reality takes you back into it's arms~

You snapped back to reality and turned around, to see your mom punching your dad's shoulder because of his mumbling. Jeff sat quietly, aside from a few attempts to say something. The doctor had left, for a reason unknown to you. Liu had gotten another chair, and was talking gently to Jeff. Jeff seemed relaxed at his brothers voice. After all, he couldn't see through those bandages. Jane got a chair too, and asked if she could join you guys. "..S..." Jeff tried to speak, but Liu cut him off, saying "it's okay, Jeff, don't strain your voice. And go ahead Jane."

"Thanks" she smiled, bringing her chair over to the other side of you, setting it down. You smiled at her, which she happily returned. "Y/N?" She whispered to you, which you whispered back saying "hm?" "Could we talk outside?" "Of course!" You two got off, excused yourselves, and went into the hallway. "Is something wrong Jane?" You ask. "Y/N, are you....okay? You keep zoning out" she says, worry showing itself through her voice. "Honestly, I don't know." You say. "I don't wanna go into detail, though" "of course!" She says.

"Should we go back inside?" You ask. "Sure!" She responds. It amazes you how she is being so happy. But then again, she could be hiding her emotions, like you do. You open the door, motioning for her to go inside. Which she does, saying a "thank you" on her way in. Once she's inside, you follow.

About how many words are in this book total? That was before I finished this chapter, so there are more words now then when I published that A/N. Consider it a milestone? Okay that's it!
