Y/N woke up on the couch to her parents watching the news. She didn't pay attention until she heard the name "Benjamin Lawrence" being mentioned. She looked up. Life wasn't done with her when she heard what was going on. The news caster was saying how he was found dead in a nearby lake. Based on the autopsy and information the police was given, someone had forced him into that lake. Her parents were watching from the kitchen and ran over when they saw tears begin to run down her face.

She sobbed. Not quietly either. She lost Ben, Jeff's in the hospital and Liu's in jail. What's next?

No....not him too..... I see my parents coming to my side. I feel someone start to rub my back. I hear their voices but not what they're saying. I end up grabbing one of my parents, and I hug them. Three of my friends, almost gone in three days. I covered my ears, not being able to hear anymore about Ben. "T-turn it off..." I mumbled. "What was that, honey?" I heard what I assumed was my dad say. "TURN IT OFF!" I wailed. I probably said that a little too loud. I heard silence take over instead of the noise of the TV. The front door opened.

"Hi mommy! Hi dadd- Y/N?! What's wrong?!" S/N says. I look at the time and see that it says 2:43 p.m. I didn't even know that they were at school. "W-what....? Where were you guys?" I asked. "At school!" B/N says. I was confused. I look at our family calendar and I see it's the next day! The party was yesterday! "S-shouldnt I be at school?" I asked. "No...we told the school you weren't feeling well. You shouldn't go anyway. Speaking of which, who was that boy on the news?" Dad asked. It made me cry even harder. "BRAYDEN!" my mom practically yelled. "H-he- wa-as my friend...." I managed to get out. S/N came over and hugged me. I hugged back greatfully.

Y/Ns family tried to cheer her up all day. She appreciated their efforts, but it didn't work. A bit later, S/N and B/N wanted to have a sleepover with Y/N saying "it'll cheer her up". She couldn't decline.

*-S/Ns POV-*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We planned the sleepover fully. B/N is making popcorn and I'm setting up the living room. Y/N went out to check the mail. Mommy and daddy had to go upstairs because appearently they got a very important call. I tried convincing B/N that we should do a tea party but he replied saying "Ewwww no!" Hmph. I heard Y/N open the front door again and by that time I had all of the blankets and pillows out. We were gonna make a fort but decided against it.
Momma was going to pick up pizza after the call. I looked up from the blankets and saw B/N dragging Y/N. We sat down and decided on a movie. I turned off the lights and the three of us sat down and watched (insert movie of your choice).
* Insert interesting timeskip to when the pizza gets here*
*-Y/Ns POV-*
I really did appreciate my family's effort to cheer me up. It meant so much yet I couldn't feel the gratitude. I know it sounds strange. It does to me even. I don't know why.... Usually I would feel so grateful but right now I just don't. I don't feel anything except this hard feeling....... Like a void. Whatever. Time to eat pizza. It was around sunset now, that movie was somehow extremely long. I barely even tasted the pizza, really. "Y/N!!!" "H-huh?" I was snapped out of my thoughts. "You were zoning out" Dad said. I noticed all of my family members looking at me with concern.
"Oh sorry...." I said before sighing. Dinner was quiet after that aside from B/N and mom trying to cheer up the mood. It's not hard to tell where B/N got his positivity from. After dinner, I cleaned up my plate quietly. Mom offered to get it, but I told her it was fine. S/N had already put in another movie, dragging all of us into the living room as we all watched another movie.
-Another timeskip-
S/N is really good at picking out long movies. How does she do it? By now, it's almost dark. It took my siblings about thirty minutes to set up, (I tried to help, but they wouldn't let me) the first movie was around three hours long, (by then it was around 5:30- 5:50 ish) we ate dinner then finished this movie and now it's around 8:02. Wow. A lot of time has passed. I knew my siblings had to go to bed soon- or so I thought. "Mommy?" B/N said. "Yes, darling?" Mom responded. "I'm tireddddd!" He said. "Well, go ahead and go to bed. I'm pretty sure we all have to go somewhere tommorow." Dad butted in. Me and S/N exchanged glances. I could she was just as confused as I was.
"He's right, off to bed you three" Mom said. "Okay fine" S/N pouted. We laid on the blankets laid on the floor. It was surprisingly comfy. The lights turned off, and I heard footsteps going up the steps. B/N was on one side of me and  S/N was on the other. After a bit, darkness took over my vision.
A/N: hey everyone! I'm sorry about my lack of chapter writing! Thank you for all of the reads, comments, and votes! It means so much! By the way, in this story it's going by Eastern Standard Time but I'm trying to make it sound like it's any time zone. If you have any ideas, or if anything in my story doesn't make sense, please let me know! Have an amazing day/night!
