You and Jeff sat in Jeff's room in silence. You could tell he was thinking about what happened with Liu just like you were. Except he knew more. You wanted so bad to find out why he was taken to JDC and claimed "dangerous". You could even hear his soft sniffles and he sat across the room from you, looking- no not looking, staring in his lap. "Jeff....?" You tried to start conversation. "Hm...." He hummed in reply. "What happened? Why is Liu in Jail? What's going on?" You asked. Your questions probably came out as a mumble and mess of words but luckily he seemed to get what you were trying to say.

"Well" he started. "It was our first day of school and there were these kids.... These jerks!!!" He said. He said the "jerks" part like it was poison. "They tried to get his wallet..... I had to fight them to get it back. The bus came and we ran leaving them on the sidewalk and......" You were stunned. They beat someone up?! "Oh......." Was all you could muster. After that you both remained in a somewhat and somehow comfortable silence even with the depressive negativity in the air. After a bit Mrs.Woods came back into the room seeing your faces. You looked up at her and saw she looked upset too but not as upset and you and Jeff. You kinda wondered why but you knew you shouldn't ask something like that because that could be taken offensive.

Finally she said "maybe to get your guys' mind off of Liu you should go outside or something". Jeff mumbled something incoherent but you just nodded. Eventually the two of you went outside and sat in the backyard not a single word shared. Until finally he broke the silence. "I can't believe it. They're not even gonna give him a court case. The justice system isn't fair whatsoever!" He said. You could just tell he was getting ready to rage. "Yea I agree" you replied. "Maybe there is a court case we just haven't found out about it. We could always ask your mom or dad when he gets home?" You continued. "I guess your right......" "Maybe let's talk about something happier?" You asked. "What else is there to talk about?" "I don't know...."

Before you knew it, it was time for dinner. You and Jeff had struck up small talk but nothing more. Your parents told you you had to be home around dinner so as you were heading out you waved a 'goodbye' to what's left of the Woods family and want home. The second you walked in the door your mother must've seen the upset look on your face because she almost immediately asked "Sweetie what's wrong?" "They took Liu..." "Who." "The police!!!!! They said something about him being dangerous and him beating a kid up and he got arrested!!!" Your mom looked stunned. "But he seemed so friendly... Well atleast based on what I hear and see if him." She said. "He is...." You sighed. "I'm going to my room" you said and without another word you started to your bedroom.

I'll still continue this story bc personally I sometimes hate it when someone discontinues the story and it hasn't reach the climax yet.
