Memories from our Past

Hi I'm currently getting ideas with this song for this book and I don't know how to go about it.

Leafy's POV

Coiny ate all of that food..we don't know how he did it, but he did.
After a long session of helping him with his stomach pain, we were on our way back home.
Firey was sleeping, and Pin was chatting with Coiny. I just smiled and sat, when I started thinking of Firey.
But not the good things.
I couldn't get it out of my mind that deep down, he still hated me. His actions from before are forgivable...but why do I still feel that he doesn't like me? All the things he's done to me...is it even forgivable?
I turned to look at him, and thought about it.
Well..he did become basically a whole new person. He wasn't rude anymore, his appearance changed, and...
What else?
I kept looking at him, when it clicked.
He was more alive.
Did...did I do that?
No. There's no way.
I looked away from him, and out the window.
I watched as the other cars sped by, and started thinking about what he told me.
"So..I'm just happy I can be here with you guys today." I remembered him saying to me.
I took a deep breath, and closed my eyes.
I thought of all the times we've spent together so far, and it made me happy.
Even something as simple as sleeping with him made me smile.
I started shivering..I was getting cold.
I turned to Firey again, who was still sleeping.
"Ah...he won't notice." I thought to myself. I leaned myself on him, and snuggled close to his body.
He flinched, and I heard him groan.
"Gah..Leafy..? What's wrong?" He mumbled, rubbing his eyes.
"Sorry Firey..I'm cold.." I started to move myself away from him, when he placed his arms on me, and let me fall back on him.
"Shh..just sleep.." he said, even quieter.
"Oh..ok then.."
As he began to quietly snore again, i wrapped my arms around him, and took a sigh of relief.
Again, I felt content. And safe.
And warm. Really warm. It was almost unbearable..but I liked it.
"It's gonna be another hour Leafy, if you're still awake." Coiny said.
"Alright..I'll take a small nap then..let me know when we get there." I replied, closing my eyes, trying to get even closer to Firey.

Pin's POV

I laid my head back on the seat as Coiny continued to drive, it had begun to rain.
I could hear Leafy and Firey sleeping, they were both snoring. I looked back to see them snuggling together.
"So, are they gonna do it?" I asked Coiny.
"Hm? What do you mean?"
"Leafy and Firey. Didn't you set them both up to ask each other out at the exact same time?"
He laughed. "Oh. Yea. Both of them agreed to it, and They have gifts for one another. But I don't know what Firey got Leafy. He refuses to tell me."
"What if it's a ring and he's planning to propose?" I said, my eyes sparkling.
"Psh. He doesn't have it in him." Coiny rolled his eyes.
"You're right." I giggled. "But it may be some type of jewelry. I wouldn't be surprised."
"You wouldn't be surprised? I'd be surprised. How come you won't?"
"Well didn't he buy Puffball Jewelry when they we're together?"
"No. She may have taken him to the jewelry store, but she was the one who'd buy it."
"Oh. Well then I guess we won't know until they get together."
"Actually, how far off is the trip? Isn't it in like January?" He asked.
"It's like the last days of January. I believe the 20th."
"Hm..well November just started, maybe she can give him the candy bars now."
"Oh!!! Or, listen to this." Coiny began. "She can give him one candy bar every day for this month, to give a little hint!"
"That's a great idea! I'll tell her about it tomorrow!"
"Awesome. You know, I really hope they work out. They both really like each other, but I feel like somethings gonna happen, and it won't work."
"Well couples fight Coiny. Like you and I."
I heard him take a deep breath.
"Well..yes..but I feel like Him and Leafy are gonna fight worse. Think about how they used to argue back and forth after the dance incident. It was really bad."
I thought about it, and remembered how bad their arguments were.

(Wow we're finally doing a flashback woahhhhbb)

Leafy, Coiny and I just started our Freshman year.
We sat at this one lunch table, sharing how our first day went.
"I glad the people in band liked us!" Leafy said happily.
"Who wouldn't like us?" Coiny started. "We're like, the most fun people to be around!"
We all laughed, and continued talking when someone walked up.
"Hey. My girlfriend says you guys are being a bit too loud. Could you quiet it down?" He said.
"Hm?" Leafy turned around first, and seen him. It was Firey.
"Oh god. It's YOU." He said, rolling his eyes.
"Leave us alone Firey. We want nothing to do with you."
"You mean you don't want anything to do with me."
"You constantly harassed me!"
"And so what? What are you gonna do about it? Cry? Like you did before?"
Leafy stood up, staring Firey down.
"I would appreciate if you'd just go away and leave me and my friends alone."
"Your friends? Psh. Give me a break. You can't even handle yourself. What can make me believe you can handle friends?"
I noticed Leafy's hands begin to shake, she was getting fired up.
"Look. Just GO. Stop trying to make yourself look so cool just because you have some rich girlfriend. She doesn't even love you."
Firey grabbed Leafy by her sweater, and lifted her up.
"Don't you disrespect me or Puffball like that. Get out of my sight. I don't want to see you. Ever."
He dropped her, and she fell on the ground. She gasped for air, as her back hit the side of the table.
"Dude! What's your problem?" Coiny shouted, running to pick up Leafy.
Firey ignored him, and walked away.
"Leafy..are you ok?" I asked as coiny sat her back down.
"I'm fine. I'm gonna go home..I'll walk alone." She replied, grabbing her things, and shoving them in her backpack. I took one last look at her as she walked away, and noticed tears were falling.
I looked at Coiny, and he sighed.
"Some year this is gonna be.." he said, his hand on his hair.

-Present Day-

I looked again at Leafy and Firey, and smiled.
"I don't think they'll fight like they used to." I said.
"What makes you think that?"
"Well, for starters, they're both on really good terms right now. And they're in love."
"You've got a point, but we won't know until the time comes when they do fight."
I looked back at the road, and sighed.
"Yea...but we can only hope for the best for them."
Coiny began to laugh.
"What's so funny?" I asked.
"Well..I just think it's so funny that they went from brutal enemies, to basically a couple..They literally fell in love with each other. Just look at them. They're cuddling as we speak. He's already kissed her while she slept. They sleep together because he claims 'he can't sleep'."
I giggled, and looked back at them one last time.
"They really are adorable together though. I just hope they can overcome their past as the days go by...and make it work." Coiny said, pulling into a fast food place. "I'm just getting water. Do you want something?"
"I'll get a milkshake if that's ok. Strawberry."
"Alright. What else?"
"That's it."
"Go ahead and wake leafy and Firey. Ask them if they want something."
I nodded, and shook Leafy awake.
"H-huh..? What...what's wrong Pin...?" She mumbled, looking at me.
"We're at a fast food place. You want something?"
"Gh..no.."
"Can you ask Firey? I can't reach him."
She looked up at him, and sighed.
"Sure." She nudged him awake.
"Firey? Wake up.."
"Hm...? Wha..are we home?"
"No." I began. "We're at a fast food place. You want something?"
"....a Hot Chocolate would be nice." He stretched, and rubbed Leafy's head.
Coiny nodded, and ordered.
We drove up to the window, by now they were both still half awake, and still hugging each other.
"Here you go Firey." I said, handing the drink to him.
"Thanks.." he took a sip of it, and I noticed from the Mirror leafy looked up.
"I know I said I didn't want anything...but can I try it?" Leafy asked Firey, rubbing her eyes.
"Sure. Here. Drink it from this side. Firey replied, giving her the drink.
She took a sip, and gave it back.
"Mmm. That's good..thank you."
"Do you want more?"
"No..it's yours."
"That doesn't mean I won't share with you."
"I'm good. Really!" She laughed.
He grinned, and drank some more.
I turned to look at Coiny, and he was smiling big.
They're definitely gonna work out. I just knew it.

Heyo! Get this. My birthday is coming up quick. I'm gonna be 18 in less than 30 days.
I started this story up when I was only 15. The first story I mean. I started the rewritten series (yes I do have more stories I'm rewriting in progress) when I was about 16.
