Firey and I spent every moment together since that day.
Gosh..it still felt like a dream to be with him..
We laid together on my bed, talking about our days.
He just got done telling me about his, and it was my turn. I told him about Cooking class with Pin.
"You know and it's like, ok pin, I understand you're such a better baker then I, but do you have to rub it in?" I joked, resting my head on his chest.
"I think you're an amazing cook leafy, your baking skills on the other hand- actually..aha-I should stop.."
I looked up at him, smirking.
"Go on, you can finish."
He laughed. "I'm kidding, I think everything you make is amazing..and there's always room for improvement."
"Aw..thanks.." I smiled big.
"You know...You're so pretty..did anyone ever tell you that?"
"Ohh Firey.."
We got over the awkward stage of our relationship..actually pretty quickly..we were in our..I guess you can call it our honeymoon phase...except we were very comfortable with each other.
And gosh..did I love him...
He was so loving with me..kissing me every chance he got, pulling me in for countless hugs.
He rubbed my back, and gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"You know.." he began. "We should really go out somewhere!"
"Like..on a date? Where would we go?"
He thought for a minute, and snapped his finger.
"How about a movie?"
"A..movie?"
"It's just a suggestion, we can go anywhere you want."
"It's not that I don't like the movies...it's just we'll be sitting in silence the whole time."
"Fair point. Or we can rent a movie and watch it here!"
"...that..actually sounds nice!"
"Alright, we'll watch one here! But..that doesn't really count as going out."
"How about we go to-"
I was cut off by him kissing me once again, and I giggled.
"Heyyyyy..I didn't get to finish!" I said, putting my hands on his cheeks.
"Sorry..you're just so adorable..I couldn't help it!"
"Pfft..Fineeeee..I'll let you get away with it..Only because I think you're cute too.."
"No im not..you're cute!"
"No you are!"
We went back and forth for a little bit, when he finally stopped, and admitted defeat.
"Ugh. Fine. We're both cute then."
I laughed, and looked at him, he was on his phone.
"Whatcha looking at?"
"Hm? Oh just talking to someone."
"A friend?"
"..you can say that."
He put his phone down, and grabbed my arms.
"Come here."
He pulled me up on top of him ( ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) NO IM KIDDING) and gave me little kisses.
God I loved him so much.
"Hehe..stopp.."
He stopped, and pulled me down, hugging me tightly.
His body was warm, and soft. It was like laying on a squishy pillow. Haha.
My mind started to wander, and I remembered Coiny.
His reaction to this..
It wasn't all that good..

(This is like 2 days after they get together)

"You guys are..dating?" Coiny said, shocked.
"Aww, congrats you guys!" Pin said happily, smiling.
"Thanks! We're hoping it all goes well!" I held Firey's hand tight as he spoke.
Coiny..didn't look happy..he was clearly upset.
Firey and I decided not to tell pin about what he did, unless he pulled this again.
"Well, we have Coiny to thank actually, he's the one who helped us realize we both liked each other." Firey continued, glaring at him.
Welp. Now I sound like a liar. Was he really gonna tell her?
"Oh you do?" She looked at Coiny, grinning . "What did he do?"
Coiny looked nervous, he started sweating,
"...he.." Firey sighed. "He just pointed us in the right direction..."
Coiny gave a confused look.
"Oh! Well good on you Coiny!!" Pin hugged him, and picked up her backpack. "Well, I have to go to class early. Got a project to turn in early. I'll see you guys!"
"Bye pin! See you!" I waved, and turned back to Coiny. "And you...what's your problem?"
"W-what? What are you talking about?"
"Dude. You clearly have a problem with us being together. Lay off."
"I..I don't. I'm happy for you guys. Enjoy your time together." He grabbed his bag too, and started walking away, when he stopped.
"Oh. And leafy? Don't be surprised when he leaves you for someone else."
Firey and I stood there in shock, and I turned to him.
"You wouldn't..leave me for someone else..right?"
"Honestly leafy, right now, standing here...I wouldn't leave you for anybody. And I probably wouldn't leave you for anyone...ever."

What really upsets me is the fact that Firey and I may have lost Coiny as a friend. He hasn't spoken to either of us since we said we were together, and it really upset me.
A few tears fell, and I sniffled. Firey immediately noticed.
"Hey..what's wrong? Are you ok?" He asked, rubbing my head.
I trusted him with everything..but..I felt like I couldn't say.
"Is it Coiny?"
"H-how-"
"You've had him on your mind a lot lately."
"Oh..well, yea. I'm just sad still that he might hate us now..because of how much me wanted me..and.."
"Oh leafy..don't cry..it's ok.."
"He's just been my friend for so long...why would he just abandon us so easily..?"
"He just needs time to process this leafy..it'll take time, and patience. And throughout life, we lose friends, in this case, possibly Coiny..or people we loved, like how I left puffball."
"Speaking of Her Firey.."
"Yea? What do you wanna know?"
"Why did you leave her? I know there's more to it besides the really bad communication and stuff."
He laughed, and sighed.
"I fell for you."
My face went warm, and I had butterflies.
"You..fell for me at that time?"
"Well..duh. Who wouldn't like you? You're so..beautiful..and sweet...gosh..there I go again.."
I smiled slightly, and felt his cheeks.
Really warm.
"Firey..you're still embarrassed to say that?" I giggled, giving him a small kiss. He kissed me back, gosh..he was so good at it. I pulled back, and fluffed his hair.
"A..a little embarrassed still...it's just kinda new to me still..being with you and stuff..it still feels like I'm just..dreaming.."
"Does it? It feels that way for me too actually..like..as if none of this is real.."
"And yet it is." We both said at the same time.
"Firey?"
"What's up leafy?"
"Say this is all a dream.."
"Uh huh?"
"Just know that..I love you."
"I love you too Leafy. A whole lot."

We cuddled for the rest of the day, talking about little things, big things, and all in between.

Finally..

I was happy.

I was truly happy for once in my life.
