"Boy I'm on the way damn. I'll leave yo ass up there" I said going upstairs to grab my keys

Today was the day Malik was finally able to come home from the hospital after being there for 6 weeks. I was excited about it

"Aight bye" He hung up

"Momma!" I yelled from upstairs

"Stop yelling in my damn house Legend" She yelled back and I rolled my eyes going downstairs

"Are you coming wimme to get Malik?" I asked her

"No I called him already I'm gonna make him a dinner and we gonna eat at the table as a family tonight" She said

"Okay well I'm finna go get him, where is Jayda?"

"She said she was going with a friend" She said and I nodded. She's definitely with her nigga

"Oh okay, well I'm about ta go" I said and she nodded then I walked out getting in my car

"Hello" I said putting my phone on the mount in my car

"Where is you goin?"

"Finna go pick up Malik he's getting released today" I said starting the car and pulling off

"That's today? damn"

"You acting like we haven't been talking at all or something. I been busy with school and all but we on break now so I'll be free for a few weeks" I shrugged stopping at the light then looking at the phone

"Aight, you finna be at Malik house? We was all finna slide there later on" He asked

"Yea imma be there"

"Aight imma fuck witchu later then" He said then hung up

After the day me and him chilled we been closer. I could admit he was a solid friend to have. he has a really chill, nonchalant type of personality which I kinda liked
