"You want to practice...with me?!" I make sure I heard my boyfriend right.

"Yes. Everyone is busy and I'm getting rusty." He begins to pack his training bag with all his stuff.

"You know I can't compete with you right?"

"Yeah. I know." He gives me a small teasing smile. "Don't worry I'll go easy on you."

"Somehow I highly doubt that. In exchange you owe me dinner alright?" I succumb to his wishes.

"Sure." We shake on it.

We finish packing our bags and went to a nearby open court which was accessible to anyone. Thankfully there were only a few people there to see me get absolutely demolished by him. He warms up first then helps me warm up.

"You okay?" He asks as he takes a volleyball from the pile.

"Yeah. Again go easy on me okay?"

"I promise. First can you toss for me?"

We position ourselves and began his 'training' so to say. In my elementary years I played volleyball, but ever since highschool I stopped, hence why I still knew a few basic things.

"Can we spike and receive?" We take a short break then move on to the next.

One spikes and the other receives, then we switchroles depending on the receive.

I could tell he was really going easy on my as his muscles were not flexing as much as it does in his usual training or games. Yes I stare at him, no shame in that.

"You can put more energy into it." I say while receiving his spike.

"Are you sure?" He asks.

"Yeah." It was my turn to spike. "I think I can handle it."

A few more passes then suddenly his eyes got all serious as I gave him a high toss. He backs up a few steps, keeping his eye on the ball and jumps to spike it my way. His hand makes an incredible noise when it came into contact with the ball. I could have admired it more if it wasn't aimed at me.

I stand my ground and received it...miserably. The ball hits only one arm, making a painful and loud noise, as it ricochet off to the side.

"Owwwww..." I whine as I feel the red mark on my arm. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO THAT HARD!"

"Sorry." He runs to me looking worried and apologetic. "I thought I controlled it well. Are you okay?"

He checks my arm with all seriousness.

"I'm fine." I pat his head. "I think it'll leave a bruise, but I'm used to it."

"Let's put some ice." He drags me off the court to the side and asks a staff to bring some ice.

While holding the ice for me, I noticed people staring and whispering at us. I believe they noticed Wakatoshi because of that loud spike.

"H-Hi!" A guy and a girl came over to talk to him. "We're really big fans! Can we have a photo together?"

Wakatoshi looks my way as if asking permission. This was one of the reasons why I love this man to death.

"Go ahead." I pat his hand, telling him silently that I'll be alright.

"I'll be right back." He kisses my cheek and goes with them.

They didn't go far. I could still see them from where I am. In times like these I really can't believe that he liked me out of all the people. He isn't perfect nor am I, but the little things that he does really make me feel special.

He rushes back to me and immediately checks my arm.

"It's turning purple." He frowns.

"That's what a bruise is." I flick his forehead. "It doesn't hurt that much any-OWWW!" He presses his thump on the bruise lightly but it hurt a lot.

"Don't lie to me." He lightly slaps my knee. "Let's go back home."

We return the ice pack, saying multiple apologies for the trouble that we caused.

On the way home, he carries my bag and almost carries me home, but I firmly told him no. It was cute but too embarrassing. We wash up as soon as we arrived to rid of all the sweat and dirt we accumulated.

In the end we delivered food to our house, of course he paid. We were enjoying our meal together when I accidentally hit my arm on the side of the table.

"FFFUHHHHHH..." I catch myself and breath in to try and soothe the sudden pain.

"You okay?" He takes my hand, where the bruise was located, and rubs circles around it.

"I was..." I blink back tears.

"Sorry...again." He kisses the bruise softly then kisses my cheek.

"Maybe if you kiss here. It will magically disappear." I point to my lips.

"Anything for you." He cups my face and gives me a sweet kiss.

"I really love you." I kiss the tip of his nose.

"I love you more." He pecks my lips.

The night turns into a relaxed argument on who loved each other more, until we fell asleep in each others arms.
