I let out a big sigh while on my way home. College was a little too much for me. Being a first-year college student was difficult enough with studies being thrown at us but a new environment and friends are to be considered as well. While sighing about life I suddenly hear someone shout.

"Hey look out!"

Before I could turn back, my bag was snatched out from my hand. I whipped around to see a man dressed all suspiciously running off with my bag. As if my day couldn't get any worse.

"HEY, YOU!!" I shout.

"Miss are you okay?" A policeman approached me making sure I wasn't harmed.

"I'm okay but please get my bag!" I plead.

Before the policeman could take another step, an orange-haired male rushed past us.

"COME BACK HEREEEEE!" He runs a little too inhumanely fast and catches up to the snatcher. "You better stay still." He sits on top of the man until we reached him.

"Hinata!" The policeman recognized him.

"Daichi-senpai!!" His eyes sparkled and they greeted each other as if they haven't seen each other in ages. "Ah here miss." He dusts off the dirt from my bag and hands it to me.

"Thank you so much...?"

"Shoyo Hinata!" He grins.

"Thank you for getting my bag for me." I sigh in relief as my notes were in here and right now they are my entire life.  "Thank you, sir."

"Sawamura Daichi." He tips his police hat. "Hinata kindly walk this woman home. I got to arrest that guy."

"Oh right." He takes his foot off his back. "You okay miss?"

"Melody," I smile. "and thank you for asking. I'm okay."

"Take care you two." The policeman heads off with the snatcher cuffed in front of him.

We bow to the kind man and walk off.

"What year are you in?" I ask to strike up a small conversation.

"3rd-year high school!" He smiles brightly. "You?"

"1st-year college."

"Whoaa that must be tough."

"It sure is. You going to college after you graduate?"

"Nah!" He confidently states. "I plan to train in another country."

"Train?"

He explains that he's on a volleyball team at Karasuno High School which was slightly familiar to me. Without hesitation, he tells his story about falling ill during a game and regretting it so. I wondered why he was telling me, a stranger, this but I didn't mind.

"To show my gratefulness to you I'll treat you to a meal!"

"Are you sure?!" His eyes sparkled brightly.

"Yeah of course!" I tried matching his energy.

We entered a nearby restaurant and began to order our food. I wasn't all that hungry, but he on the other hand seemed like he was starving. I didn't mind since I just got my paycheck from my workplace. Eating comfortably, we chatted about little things, and to be honest, this guy was a ball of sunshine. He had so much energy which someone affected my mood as well.

After finishing our meal, I call for the bill and was shocked to see how much he ate, but I didn't let it show. We head back out and he walks me home, despite telling him I'd be fine. We reach my apartment and I again thank him again for everything.

"Ah here!" I give him a slip of paper which had my contact info. "Once you graduate you can call me. I'm working as a public relations assistant so I could help you find some people out of the country."

"Really?!" He takes my card with both hands. "Thank you!"

He bows and heads home waving me goodbye.

I had a feeling this isn't the last I'd see of Hinata Shoyo.
