I tapped a beat on the table nervously, glancing at my phone every once in a while.

The girls and I had split up. Lane stayed at the hotel while Carrie and Breanna, who had gotten along quite well with each other, were doing some shopping. Megan wanted to see some "really interesting" places so she had signed up for the city tour. We hadn't really planned much of the trip, and thankfully Breanna's mom was nice enough to let Brean have a credit card for if we're short on money.

Anyway, while the others were off doing their own thing, I was at this coffee shop. It was a nice place, smelling of freshly brewed coffee and pastries. No wonder Maknae chose this as our meeting place. It was nice and casual, someplace comfortable.

Not too many people came in, though the number was enough to keep the business running. They had good service, too. The guy at the cash register was kinda cute. He was around my age and I had thought that maybe he was who I was looking for. It was embarrassing though when I asked him if he was Maknae. Thankfully he hadn't laughed and he had wished me good luck in finding him.

I took another sip of my caramel latte, before my eyes darted back to the entrance of the shop. It was a bad idea to come fifteen minutes earlier than our agreed time, but I was excited. I was finally meeting this guy that I may or may not have developed a crush on in the past few months that we had chatted on Kik.

I caught sight of a figure coming into the shop and as he walked inside I felt like he was familiar.

Oh my God. It was Jeon Jungkook. It had to be. I've seen enough pictures to be able to recognize him.

What was he doing here? Did the fates really have to plan on him coming inside the coffee shop just three minutes before I was supposed to meet the BTS fanboy I met online? Now when Maknae shows up, I'll be distracted for sure.

Maknae. He's also a fan of BTS. He would understand why I'd ignore him for most of our meeting, right? Probably not. He said he was busy, and I was the one who really wanted to meet him.

It could have just been me but I swear Jungkook glanced over in my direction just before he headed for the counter. I tried keeping my calm, afraid that I would scare him if I approach him now.

I grabbed my phone, opening the Kik app and sent a message to Breanna.

amiamelia: omfg omfg omfg omfg

She hadn't replied and I guessed it was because she wasn't connected to WiFi at the moment. I was squirming in my seat, the fangirl in me dying to be unleashed.

No, I was not going to embarrass myself in front of my idol. I was determined to keep my cool.

So, I went to text someone else I knew.

amiamelia: hey! where are you? there's something i want to tell you rn.

maknae: what did you want to tell me?

amiamelia: he's here. he's freakin in this room with me. we're breathing the same air. holy shxt

I heard a chuckle nearby and I realized someone was standing right next to my table. I looked up slowly, my eyes seeing the cup of coffee in one hand and a phone in the other.

This is it. The moment of truth. I was nervous and excited. I wasn't sure if Maknae would be as cute as I had imagined him. I had prepared my self for if he was less than my expectation, but not for if he was hotter in person than in my imagination. Finally I could put a face to the boy whom I spilled my guts to.

I'm finally meeting him.

And then my gaze landed on his face and I think I had a mini-heart attack.

"Jungkook?"

He grinned, sending butterflies fluttering in my stomach. "It's nice to meet you, Mia."

And I just died right then and there.
