Andromeda:

"Andromeda?"

I close my eyes, holding onto Drew's hand tightly, not wanting him to let go. Chills are sent down my spine, and I suddenly felt sick to my stomach. It was like I was hit by a wave of emotion; lots, and lots of emotions. Different thoughts ran through my mind in that very second as my hands clenched into fists, and my finger nails dug into the skin of my palms.

I didn't know exactly what I was feeling, most of it made me confused. All I knew was that just by the way he said my name, the way it just casually rolled off of his tounge, that it felt so wrong to hear it come out of his mouth. It was a disgusting feeling, to know that he had just saw me, and that the worse part of all of this was that I didn't know whether to punch him or hug him.

'Him' being the one person I just didn't want to see, nor deal with at this very second. Today was supposed to be a good day, filled with chirping birds, sunshine, and happiness. Instead, I got terrible Chinese food, an upset boyfriend, and one brother. Such a great way to start off my re-do of a birthday (note the sarcasm).

All I wanted was some peace and quiet, an easy day that just required myself, Netflix, junk food, my boyfriend, and a bed. All I needed was a day to myself, to not be haunted by my thoughts, to not have to spend another one of my birthday's alone, with no parent. I couldn't very well go up to the 600th floor and ask my "father" to come down to earth so hisdaughter wouldn't have to mop around like the hot mess I am. And, there is no way in hell I was going to go back to Sally and plead for forgiveness. My pride, my self-esteem wouldn't have it.

And today, I was just too tired to care. To give a damn about anything actually, besides myself and Drew.

I open my eyes, letting go of Drew's hand relcuantly, and spinning around to face my twin brother. My arms end up crossed, and I end up giving my brother my signature poker-face. "What do you want, Percy?"

He looks slightly taken back, but just like a switch, he's back to normal. "Nothing, actually. Just wanted to know why my sister is kissing a dyed blonde, no good, idiot. You know, the one that stole my sister from me, and my mother. Herfamily!"

I scuff at his words."I am not your family. I never will be! My family is him," I point at Drew. "Andrew Grayson, and a bunch of other people that aren't you, or Sally!"

His eyes widen and he throws his head back laughing, pointing a finger at Drew. "Him? He can't possibly be your so called "family" that you talk oh so preciously about. He probably doesn't even know a thing about you."

"And you do?" I ask, determined to not let him win this fight. Percy may be loyal, and kind, but at times his could be a real ass.

"Yeah I do." He replies, smirking.

I tip my head to the head to the side, my smirk matching his."Then prove it. If you know somuch about me, then prove it."

A look of shock runs over his face, and his skin goes extremely pale, like he just saw a ghost. Percy didn't know anything about me, unless you count the fact he knows my birthday --which doesn't really count seeing as we share the same birthday.

I step forward. "Go ahead. Prove to me that you know at least one thing about me, and I might just let go of the fact that all I want to do right now is punch you square in the face."

A look of hurt flashes over his facial features, but then quickly vanishes. He opens his mouth, his finger raised, but nothing comes out of his mouth. No words. Just his breath. Deciding I couldn't take this any longer, I grab onto Drew's hand, and I lead him away from Percy.
