chapter 2: school sucks and river monsters

Ok so before I begin the second chapter I would just like to say sorry about the spelling mistakes I'm not going to blame autocorrect or the fact that half of the time my head is pounding (which both of these things are true BTW)

Andromeda's POV

when I got to school it was 7:40am which means I have 20minutes to get my stuff in and out of my locker and get to my class while at the same time tracking down Gavin, fun right WRONG.

As I'm walking down the hallway a couple of other kids in the ninth grade shove a sixth grader up against the lockers and start punching him, me being the stupid ADHD and not liking the fact the poor kid was getting harassed by the guys I walked over to the guys. I tapped one of the guys on the shoulder and he turned around and I smiled sweetly

"what do you want" says the guy I tapped on the shoulder "what I want is for you to let the poor guy go and leave him alone" I said to him.

"and what are you gonna do if I don't" he said turning his whole body around and I took this as an advantage and step on his foot as hard as could. When he bent down to look at his foot I kneed him right where the sun don't shine and he collapsed to the floor."that's what I was gonna do, know are you and your pack of friends gonna let the poor guy go or do I have to get a baseball bat and hit you where it don't shine" I said bending down to his level so now I was squatting which by the way my knees don't like that much."um no need to do that guys let him go". he said and his friends let the guy go and he ran like the wind down the hallway."ok thanks bye" I said all high pitched and stranded up and headed to class, but when I turned around there was a crowd all around me and the other guys "what never seen this happen before take a picture it'll last longer" I say and spot Gavin in the crowd of people.

when I meet up with Gavin he laughing his head not really I thought.

"so what's up" I say "oh not much just watch my best friend kick a** you know the usual" he said smiling "yep I know I'm fabulous know come on were going to late for class" I say and we link arms and skip down the hallway well I skipped he kinda just walked down the hallway as we sung :were off so see the wonderful wizard of oz.

~~~~~~~~~7hours later~~~~~~~~~~~

seven hours later of torture and me and Gavin are out of school  and heading to the park in the middle of town. It was a nice walk there except for the fact being honk at three times and almost dropping my bag in a muddy puddle and Gavin complaining about "why I have a wool bag" which I kindly said back to him "your goat and wool come from sheep" he reply with some coloring words of wisdom.

At the park me Gavin went for walk and I begged him to go down to the where east and west river of Huston meet, he said that's a bad idea but I being stubborn and wanting to go I threaten to put him over my shoulder or drag him there which made him come, yes I can be evil sometimes.

"So what are we going to do here just stare at the lake"he said "first of all its not a lake its a river and second I like the scenery" I said correcting him "oh way such a joyful scenery of garbage such a beautiful place" he said sarcastically "oh shut up" I say as I stare down to the river and sit down. When I attempt to sit down gracefully which did not work and I landed on my tailbone that hurt and my hand went flying sideways and some of the garbage in the rivers came out of the water and landed on a tree.

"what the" said Gavin helping me stand up "are you ok?" he asked and I nodded as we stare at the tree with garage the from here look like tonsil off a Christmas tree."so maybe we found one of your powers flinging garbage onto trees" he said and laughed "hardy har har " I say as I hear a bubbling sound from behind me come from the lake, and then I tap Gavin on the shoulder "do you hear that" I say "what" he said and I turn him around as the water from the lake is morfing with the garbage to make what looks like a garbage monster. The thing lounges for Gavin and I get worried and all of a sudden I feel a burning sensation deep in my gut. The burning sensation doesn't go away and its not a heart burn but I look up once again and the monster stopes going for Gavin it starts shrinking and shrinking til it goes back into the lake and all that's left is a pile of garbage sinking back into the lake and the burning sensation is gone.

"did you and that and how and ugh not again" he said grabbing my bag then grabbing my arm and dragging me off." dude can you let go of my arm and give me back my bag and please tell me what's going on?" I ask "you know how the gods are real right?" he said/asks me and I nod "well I think I know who your godly parent is but I can't be sure, and the fact that thing attacks in public that monster well it means they found you and that they won't stop til your dead" he said and all I think is the joy!. "So where are we going" I ask "were going to camp, Camp-halfblood" he said.
