Chapter 11: Taking Blame

Connor's POV

I didn't know what happened exactly to Andromeda and Jason in the car wreck, but all I did know was when I saw her just sitting and thinking over what happened for the past three hours I felt a pang in my heart when I had been holding her and letting her cry. Andromeda doesn't seem like a person to cry or to feel anything at all, but in the end you could never judge a book by it's cover. She was so sad and empty, you could see written all over her face. I felt bad that I really couldn't do anything to make her feel better about what happened, all I could do was hold her tight.

She was so different from any of the my other gal pals, she showed strength even when there was non left. The way she showed emotion through her eyes and not her words, the way she knew she had a wall all built up inside of her, but when given a hand or at least a moment of kindness shown her way she would instantly open up. She had high standards and took nothing for granted. I may have just met this girl, the girl who was golden. She too me had shone with different colors of beauty and courage and strength made her shine like a light a light of pure gold.

When we had gotten the news I had left her after I made sure she was okay. I had left her to go bring the news to my friends.

My friends were:

Annabeth chase

Piper McLean

Jason grace (but he's in the infirmary right now)

Hazel Levesque (she had been staying here to make sure nico was okay)

Frank Zhang (he was here  for hazel)

Nico Di' Angelo

Rachel Elizabeth Dare ( or R.E.D for short, its her intichals)

Leo Valdez

Travis Stoll (my brother)

Katie Gardner (she was friends with girls and the others but not really me, she may or may not have a crush on my brother but I'm still figuring that out)

Those were my friends and right now one of them was crying into Percy's shirt, in a brotherly way of course. It was Piper, her face was all red and puffy kinda like what Andromeda's look like when she broke down on me.

Everyone had gotten the news from Chiron who got it from Apollo, Apollo was done an hour before he came outside but stayed an extra hour to make sure Jason was stable and was okay.

Right now when I had ran over back to my group of friends who were in a circle at the beach on the sand. When they saw me pipers face was filled with all tips of emotion like: Anger, worry and sadness. The rest of my friends had sad written all over their faces as well. But me I'm just smiling like an idiot.

"Why are you smiling?" ask a now stopped crying piper " I'm smiling because YOUR BOYFRIEND IS ALIVE!" I say very loudly to her and her face shine with glee but then twists into anger.

"I'm going to go get Andromeda okay" Percy tell all of us and we all nod except piper.

Piper what's wrong?" ask Leo and she just glares at him and he puts his hands up in a surrendering motion.

I sit down as we all wait for Percy to come back. After about 10 minutes Percy comes back to us to see a very tired looking Andromeda who's now wearing a pear of jean shorts and blue long sleeve shirt and a pair of white runners and her black hair was down and sitting on her shoulders.

When Piper saw Andromeda her face twists into full disgust towards her, oh so that her problem.

Andromeda had a really puffy face puffier then piper and her face was even more tear stained, her hands were not longer bloody as she had probably washed them off.
