Chapter 9 ~ Dad?

Y/n's POV:

The man stood before me seemed familiar and I had recognised his voice I don't know how since I haven't seen him in 13 years and I just stood there shocked, then I heard Madison come downstairs and stopped as she saw me stood there with a blank expression "dad?" I hear Madison gasp and I look back at her "I thought I told you to stay upstairs" she looks down and then back up "I got worried about you" she gives me them puppy dog eyes and although I wanted to smile I couldn't, I didn't know what my dad wanted and why he was here, I looked back at him "what do you want" I say bluntly and he looks at me hurt "ouch that's not a way to welcome your father" he tries to step inside and I place a hand on his chest lightly pushing him back "I think it's best you stay back" he looks down at his feet and then glances at Madison "Anna you look so much different"

Madison's POV:

I glance to my girlfriend and then him "I'm- I'm not Anna" I say and as he hears my accent, he sees he was wrong "no you aren't" I look at him confused "Anna is blonde. This is my girlfriend Madison" he looks at me and then his daughter "your girlfriend?" she rolls her eyes "yes, my girlfriend, now what do you want" he shakes his head "since when did I say you could date her? You can't date her that's not okay, it's wrong!" my mouth drops open and she laughs in disbelief "since when did you have control over my life? Oh, wait you lost that control when you walked out on me and mom when I was four! Fucking four! And you think you can be the judge of who I date? Well, you have another thing coming, I like Madison! She makes me feel special which is more than what anyone ever did!!" he looks down "I wanted to apologise" she shakes her head "no you could have done that years ago. Why now? Why 13 years later?!" I step closer to Y/n to calm her, but glances at the floor in front of me "Madison please move away from me I don't want to hurt you" she looks up to my eyes then back to her father I gulp and step back looking at him to "well? I'm waiting for an answer" she steps closer to him "I missed you" I watch her fists clench and I whisper "babe-" but I'm cut off when she yells "bullshit! Give me a real reason or fuck off out of my life again! You seem rather good at disappearing"

He nods as he keeps his eyes on the floor, from studying body language for years I could tell he wasn't sorry at all and he was acting "I'm sorry Y/n/n" she moves closer to him and I grab her hand gently running my thumb over the top to calm her down before she does something she'll regret and she looks at me and I shake my head "he isn't worth it baby" Y/n nods looking down at the floor and back to him "I never want to see you again" he looks up at her with tears in his eyes though it looked forced "Y/n don't do-" I step in "she said leave" I slam the door shut before he finishes and pull my girlfriend towards me and into a hug putting her head on my chest "I'm sorry baby" I whisper hugging her tighter as she tries to fight back her tears I rub her back and she grabs my waist and shakes her head taking a deep breath pulling away "don't apologise, I know I would have done something bad if you weren't here, thank you Madi" I smile softly and kiss her gently "of course, if he comes back again I'll kill him" she laughs and sniffs wiping her eyes.

Y/n's POV:

Me and Madison return to my bedroom and lie down on my bed next to each other and I scroll through Netflix looking for a movie we can watch as she looks back at me "can you cuddle me?" giving me those puppy eyes which I can't resist "of course baby girl" I move closer to her and put my hand on her thigh bringing it over my legs and then put my arm on her back bringing her into me as she lays her head on my shoulder and sighs happily "I'm proud of you baby" I smile at the name and then look down at her "for what?" she looks up at me with those beautiful hazel eyes "for staying calm, that would be hard for anyone. You especially and you managed it really well." I just smile again "only because you were there" she laughs and leans into my ear "you really are a simp aren't you baby" I blush and shake my head lightly pushing her away as she grips onto my shirt "no! Y/n! Okay, okay I'm sorry" I stop pushing and she cuddles back into me "only for you gorgeous" I whisper, I see her blush deeply. She says softly "is it true what you said earlier?" I tilt my head to see her "do I really make you feel special?" she says tilting her head up yet again and I nod "yeah you do baby. Nobody has ever treated me with the amount of love that you do" she smirks and moves her leg over me properly as she leans down to my ear "I mean there is another way I could show my love" she whispers in her raspy voice "how's that angel?" she moves her head down and kisses my neck gently then rougher giving me a wave of butterflies in my stomach and I move my hands to her waist.
