"Scott told me you were back."
I looked up from my phone to see Isaac as he burst through my apartment. He had an angry look on his face.
"I don't know if I should be hugging you or grabbing a jar of wolfs bane." I joked, but seeing his facial expression didn't falter, I quickly shut up.
"You didn't call." Isaac said. "You didn't text, didn't write? How was I supposed to know you were even still alive?!"
"Are you seriously mad at me right now?" I asked.
"A lot more than mad." Isaac spat. "You disappeared off the face of the earth and you think you can just ignore me all summer?! I left you countless texts and voicemails and you didn't return a single one of them!"
Isaac dialed down his anger and sighed.
"We're done." He said, and turned to leave my apartment. "Loving you is a loosing game y/n."
I bolted off my chair and walked toward him. "Isaac wait-
"And you wanna know the worst part?" He cut me off and turned back to me I could see his eyes were glossed over, like he was holding back tears.
"It was that I cared about you more than anyone else in the world. More than Scott, more than Stiles. But it wasn't enough and you walked away like it was the easiest thing in the world to do!"
"Hey woah." I said. "I had to leave town- leave all of you- to look for my twin brother who ran away with some one thousand year old vampire- werewolf- dick! And he still hasn't come back. Okay? Doesn't exactly qualify as the easiest thing in the world, Isaac.
"And I think you of all people should understand. Haven't you been looking for Erika and Boyd all summer?"
Isaac scoffed and turned to leave. I didn't stop him.
"at least I called." He said quietly, and slipped behind the door.
It all happened so fast, I wasn't even sure if it had happened at all.
