I woke up to the Centuar making a very abrupt stop. I rubbed my eyes and looked around, seeing where we were. We were close to Mount Kadar, somewhere in the middle of the snow. I looked over at Baird, who now took notice of me.

"Hey look at that, they live." He said, "We're almost there."

"Keep your eyes open. The closer we are, the more likely we'll encounter resistance." Marcus said, starting to drive again.

"So what are we doing?" I asked

"We get in, find their hub, their leader.. set off the beacon, and rain hell. Once we set the beacon off, the rest of the COG will drill down in. We just need to find somewhere close, and safe for them to drill." Marcus said, "Dom, get on the canon. I'm sure we're going to need it."

"Got it." Dom said.

Dom climbed up into the canon seat and kept watch. On the way up to Mount Kadar, we encountered multiple locust camps, which Dom made short work of. The locust seemed to take notice of us, as multiple Reavers had been sent down to try and take care of us. Dom did his best to protect us, but a few shots made their way to the Centuar, damaging it. Baird did his best to keep on top of repairs, at least the ones he could. Cole and I acted as eyes on the back of Doms head, letting him know if any Reavers were coming up behind us. Eventually, our trek led us to a frozen lake.. and going across it was our only way to get to Mount Kadar. Marcus kicked into gear and started going across the lake.

"Marcus..! Its not going to hold!" I exclaimed.

"It'll hold!!" He yelled back, focusing on driving.

Reavers started flying overhead again, shooting rockets at the lake, breaking holes into it.

"Marcus!!" Baird exclaimed, "Watch out for the holes!"

"I can see them, Baird!!" Marcus growled.

Marcus maneuvered the Centuar over the lake, barely avoiding the holes in the ice. Once we were finally across, we all let out a sigh of relief, Baird speaking up.

"Next frozen lake we cross, I'm driving." He said.

"Next lake, you're swimming." Marcus stated, continuing on the path to Mount Kadar.

The rest of the ride up was bumpy, and full of seemingly endless locust camps. Fortunately, we were close. We made our way to the entrance into the mountain, and fought off all the locust guarding it. Dom blasted the gates down and opened the pathway in. Once inside, darkness quickly overcame us.

"Oh great," Baird started, "Gonna be real easy to shoot things now!"

Marcus grumbled, turning the headlights on, "Happy?"

To say the cave was creepy was a huge understatement. We could only see what was in front of us, and I could of swore I could hear something crawling through the rock around us. A loud crash, followed by screeching, confirmed my suspicions, as a Corpser burst through the wall. It didn't stay, however, and quickly receded back into the mountain. Shaking it off, we continued driving further into the mountain. Eventually, we came across a ledge, and not one we could climb down ourselves. Marcus backed us up a hit, before driving off the ledge. The Centaur landed at the bottom with a loud crash, and then broke down. The engine stopped, and the lights turned off, leaving us in darkness.
