"Are you ready for this?" Brienne whispered to Jaime as the two weakly dismounted from their horses as they pulled up in front of the stables just outside the main manor of Kings Landing.

Jaime had not stopped looking around, drinking in the sight of his home. "You could have asked that before we entered the gates," he muttered.

Brienne smiled as she helped Jaime dismount even though he grunted at her not to. Immediately, the stable boy rushed over and bowed to Jaime.

"Make sure she gets a room, food and clothes," Jaime instructed the boy who immediately bowed again and began to show Brienne the way.

The woman turned to Jaime and patted his shoulder, "I will see you later."

Jaime nodded. First, he had to find one of his family members, preferably Tyrion because he didn't want to look a sight when he did see Evelyn.... Gosh... it had been over a year since he had seen the girl. He couldn't help the smile that split across his face as he remembered her long raven black hair, golden eyes and innocently luscious curves... her plump lips turned up in a smile... her nose probably dusted with freckles after being exposed to summer light.

He carefully made his way down the corridors, partially from exhaustion, partly from not wanting to run into someone who would question his messy appearance and also because he wanted to drink in the sight of his home.

When he finally reached his quarters, he heard a voice on the other side of the door and paused.... Cersei. Just peachy! He poked his head around the corner and saw Cersei humming to herself while looking through some seashells.

"Cersei?" he said softly.

The woman spun around and after taking in the sight of Jaime, covered in mud, his hair a mess and his right arm missing a hand, she jumped up and rushed over to him. She went to grab his arms, but Jaime tensed at the contact and she froze in her movements.

"You're home!" She said, trying to sound overjoyed but she was irritated by the way that he kept scanning the room.

"Where is Evelyn?" He demanded immediately.

Cersei frowned before shrugging, "Jaime, you need to get washed up and let the maester take a look at your injuries. Come sit down."

When she made to grab his arm again, he yanked away and glared at her, "Where. Is. Evelyn?"

The blond woman was losing her patience and was about to snap at Jaime when a voice spoke from behind them and the two spun around to see Tyrion standing there with a young woman behind him. The girl couldn't have been more than 16 with long blond hair that fell in perfect messy curls to the center of her back, big green eyes and freckled plump cheeks.

"Jaime..." Tyrion gasped, unable to believe that he was looking at his brother.

Jaime smiled at the sight of his little brother and bent down to wrap his brother in a hug. After the hug, Tyrion pulled back and wrinkled his nose.

"You smell like horse. Where and what have you been doing!?" the man teased.

Jaime smiled, "You have no idea. Who is this?" he asked, nodding to the girl.

"Ah, Jaime, meet Lillia Arryn. She will be staying here for a while," Tyrion explained.

Jaime smiled at the girl and nodded his head, "Pleasure to meet you."

Lillia smiled gently, "I will go tell the maids to prepare bath and clothes for Ser Jaime."

The two men nodded to the girl gratefully before Jaime turned back to Tyrion. "Tyrion... where is Evelyn?"
