Deal with Demons

     Chisaki Kai, while thorough with his perfected work, had thoughts pondered for a bit. What would happen if things turned out differently? Would he ever see you again? Why do things happen without reason? He then recalled the night he encountered with the League of villains.

**FLASHBACK**

     It was at a warehouse far from the city. Overhaul and Chronostasis were just about to meet with the League.

"To ensure we cover all we need to discuss, we will work alongside them, making sure we contain reinforcements for the yakuza and they will establish their name throughout the entire country of Japan with the serum."
"We're not joining their cause."
"What? Why?"
"Their purpose is full of ridiculous hopes while ours are realistic. It would make sense if they would come up with a better purpose to ask us for help when they should be working for the yakuza."

     Hari sighed lightly as he notices his boss' demeanor had started to change after his encounter with the hero.

"This wouldn't be because of her, is it sir?"

     He stopped midway as he glares right back to his right hand man.

"What are you implying, Hari?"
"Apologies if this is sounds out of line young lord, but that hero you've encounter with today will be nothing but trouble if you keep interacting with her."
"Who I interact with should not be relevant to this meeting. What matters is their ideals and their goals. They want to rule the world and all they offer is hope. What happens after it's all done?"
"Either way, that girl will interfere with the plan if this continues."

     Chisaki Kai rubs his mask realizing the point Chronostasis makes.

"You may have a good point. If the League caught wind of her meddling with the yakuza or the plan, she'll definitely be killed. Chrono, assign someone to keep a good eye on her. If the League tries to break our plans if we fail to cooperate, they'll use any consequences we may have as blackmail."
"I see, but why didn't you kill her right then and there when you had the chance?"
"Those heroes may be contagious with this sickness, but who I choose to save shouldn't be our main concern."
"Forgive me sir, but that girl will turn and stab you in the back if she continues to spend anytime with you. She'll pick up the idea you are a villain and send you to Tarturus where you'll never see the light of day again."

     In one swift movement, Chisaki Kai rushes towards him with his gloved hand, grabbing hold of his neck.

"While I respect your concern about me, please be aware that in one wrong move, you could end up 10 feet under. Don't disrespect my decisions, do you understand?"
"Yes sir." Chronostasis muttered.

     Overhaul removed his hand away, leaving no injuries on Chronostasis' body.

"Besides, if you understood a bit of a person instead of concluding your decisions, you would agree with what I saw from that person."
"Yes sir."

     Minutes later, the two reached towards the LOV's base. Overhaul gestured Chronostasis over to the side, telling him if things go south, warn his men. After he agreed, Overhaul walked inside to see the league waiting for them.

"Apologies for being late," Overhaul responds with a lie, "there were issues in the base I had to handle."
"Well now," Shigaraki smiled, "what do you have to offer us?"

     Overhaul glanced towards the League of Villains and started to reach towards a box. However, just before he could reach, Shigaraki held his hand.

"No need to demonstrate what you have. We just want to hear your answer. Will you join the league or not?"
"The plan you offered me is futile and you heard clearly about mine. I will not take part of your little plan to take over, even if it is an interesting plan. Do what you wish with mine, but don't let me be apart of it. Your ideals simply bore my interest."

     He started to walk away from the League and towards the door.

"Oh? And that little hero crush piques yours?"

   Overhaul stopped walking for a moment, glaring towards Shigaraki.

How'd he know about Y/N? Overhaul asked. The only one who knew about her would be Chronostasis. Did he... No. Chrono has been loyal since day 1. He wouldn't speak to the League about even if it was accidental.

"What makes you think I would crush on heroes whose infecting this world with their sickness?"
"Because that's what you did." Dabi replied from the darkness, holding a picture of them in the process. "Gotta say, she's not bad looking even without her hero costume on."

He slowly walked towards Shigaraki, handing him a picture. Shigaraki glanced at it perfectly with three fingers holding it tightly.

"Yes, she truly is a beauty. Even better than I imagined. I wonder... does she know?"
"Of what? Who I am? Doubtful."
"I see. So, you wouldn't mind if we bring her along with the plan? I'm sure it would be ashamed if she was hurt in someway."
"If you plan on harming her in any way,  I swear I'll-"
"You'll what? Call the authorities?" Dabi remarked, "That's not going to be easy to deal with when you're a villain."

     Overhaul knew it wouldn't be easy to handle this matter through violence. He took a deep breath and glared.

"What do you want?
"How about we make a deal?" Shigaraki mentioned.
"Deal?"
"It's quite simple: you join the League and no harm will come to her."
"And if I were to decline?"
"Then that little hero will join by force."
"However, if you're looking to back off the deal in any way," added Dabi, "your little hero will pay the price."
"So how about it?" Shigaraki asked as he raised his crusted hand towards Overhaul.

**END OF FLASHBACK**

     With one sigh of despair, he picked up the bullet he had completed. It was the finished product of his work. The box which he was to show was bullets which weren't completed. However, the bullet he held on his hand contained a healing bullet: which allowed him to reverse the damage of the quirk destroying bullet.

"I'm sorry, Y/N..." he replied softly as a small tear started to roll from his face, "but I'm only doing this for you. My life is in your debt, but I can't let you die because of this. I need you alive."
