Sir's Protector?!

As I went towards the ground preparing to feel the strike of his sword, I closed my eyes.

"Sir!" Bubble Girl called out.

I didn't hear anything.
My mind remained blank as I prepared to see my daughter in the afterlife.
However, that moment never came.
I heard the sword slashing, but I felt no cut anywhere on my body.
As I slowly looked up, I noticed a familiar figure holding on to the sword.
My eyes widened in shock.

"No way..."

Just then, several members of his yakuza joined in and fought against the league. At the same time, Chronostasis used his quirk on me to make the bleeding slower than before.

"I kept it slower as you requested, young lord."
"Good."
"What are you doing, Overhaul?" Black Cat growled.

He activated his quirk and destroyed the sword as chunks of metal.
Black Cat backed up with Toga by her side.

"This isn't like you at all, Overhaul." Toga teased.
"Don't tell me you're changing sides now?" Black Cat growled.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!!" yelled Overhaul.

The three stared at him while the others around them continued to fight.
I only stared at him confusely.

'What the hell was he doing?'
"I don't care much about what is going through Shigaraki's plan and honestly, I don't give a damn about it. What I do care, however, is the people involved in this plan. If you dare lay a finger on him, I'll never forgive you or the league for that matter."

He then turned to his right-hand man as he saw me with those severe injuries. Slowly, he walked towards me, crouching down to touch those injuries.

"Hold still." he replied softly. "It'll hurt more if you struggle."

In an instant, I felt out of place and was reattached with most of my injuries healed.
I couldn't understand why at first, but I looked at him concerningly.

"You may not like me because we're enemies." he replied, "but I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing this for your daughter."
"Wait. What? How do you know my daughter?"

"Don't worry about that. She hasn't been harmed by me. I'm not letting all of you get involved in any of my mess. Chrono, get him and his team out safely."
"Yes, my lord."
"B-but wait! Wait!"

*** PRESENT DAY, YOUR POV ***

"And that was... the last time... I saw him." he finished.

He took a deep breath and looked at me.

"Listen my child... I was wrong... about... Chisaki..."

I glanced at him in shock.
This was a first.
He never admits his mistakes, even if he literally made a mistake.
And towards a villain no less.

"I saw... you and him... in my... vision... and... I was scared. I thought... he... would harm you... "

Surprised by his comment, I wasn't sure of what to think.
Dad saw me and him?? In his vision?

"Why didn't you tell me about it in the first place?"
"I was... unsure at first." he replied. "I didn't... want to... jump to conclusions... And I guess... I still... had a grudge... of seeing... villains... as they are... and not... giving them... a chance."

He coughed a bit as he tried to breathe. This was the longest thing he's ever spoken before without coughing up a lung and the calmest he's ever been before.

" Listen... I need you... to do something... for me."
"What is it?"
"Before I left... I used... my quirk... on his henchman... and I saw... a cure."
"A cure?"
"Yes. A cure to reverse... what was lost... but... you need... to see him."
"See... Kai?! No! I can't!"
"You have to..."
"But Dad... I can't see him. Not like this. What if he doesn't want my help?"
"Then take... Midoriya or Mirio... with you. If they... tell him... about you... then, you'll be okay... Promise me."

As his eyes started to close to rest, I only sat there to think.
There's a cure for my powers?
And Kai has the key?
I want to see him, but I'm too scared.
What if he hates my true form?
What would happen if he thought I was nothing but a lie?

So many theories started to pop in my head, but I then looked at my dad again.
If he believes that Kai can save me, then so be it.

I knew what I had to do.

** MIDORIYA'S POV **

As Mirio. Bubble Girl, Centipeder, and I sat at the hospital seats, we patiently waited for her to come back and tell us what has happened with Sir. With each passing moment, none of us were unsure what was going on in that room. However, Centipeder and Bubble Girl decided to leave for work on some of the damages and hope that there were some info left at the agency. Minutes passed, none of us heard anything yet.

"I'm going to get a soda from the machine." announced Mirio abruptly, "Do you want some?"
"Sure." I nodded as he left to the soda machine.

I knew this was a hard day with everyone, especially Mirio: almost losing Sir, reuniting with Y/N, and determined to fight against anyone who stands in his way. Just as I thought of how painful he must be right then; the doors flew opened. I stood and saw Y/N coming through the doorway entrance, in silence and looking downward.

"How is he?" I asked curiously.
"He's fine." she replied softly.

I noticed how quiet and calm she was about Sir's whole ordeal.

"What's wrong?"
"Midoriya," she began. "I need your help."
"What is it?"
"I need you to take me to Overhaul. I need to talk to him."

Unsure as to why she needed to see him, she explained to me exactly what Sir had told her: from the accident to his request. While it seemed too good to be true for a villain to save a hero, there was something that didn't add up. Why did she need to see Chisaki? Unless he had a cure to reverse the accident, I wasn't sure it would be a good idea to see him. Even if we could, how can we get in contact with him? Then I felt something in my hero pocket: it was the card he left behind months earlier before he disappearance. He then recalled exactly what he said that day:

"Take this. Call this through a pay phone and I'll provide you a location and time. When you get to there, let my men know I sent you. They'll let you through."

This may seem strange, but this might work. I thought. But I need to be sure about something first.

"Are you sure you want to see him?" I assured her, "I mean, he's a villain after all."
"I have to. He's the only one who can heal me. Please."
"But what if he doesn't believe you? I mean, he could kill you."
"He won't. Please trust me on this one, Midoriya."
"And what if he can't? What if he can't get your quirk back?"

She then stopped for a moment and looked down.
This was a scary moment for her.
What would be her backup plan if this cure doesn't work?

"Then I'd rather die than to live on without a quirk. Now, please take me to him."
