As I continued to cry my eyes out for how hideous I look like, the bullet fell down from my body, breaking all the pieces until it was nothing but dust. Toga, who noticed the process was completed, noticed what my true form really looked like.

"Aw, look at this, Compress." she mentioned, "I guess a butterfly can become a moth."
"Truly disgraceful!" Compress agreed, "It's as if her beauty suddenly diminished."
"Not only that, but she's covered with so much blood."

I looked at them, realizing how hurtful they were treating me. I didn't want to hear more of this and covered my face.

"I know! Why don't you use your power to change back into your-oh, wait! You can't!"

As she laughed maniacally, I covered my hands to my ears. It was terrible to hear these kinds of words towards me.

"That's what happens when you rely too much of your quirk, hero! You are never blessed with it until it is gone!"
"We must go," Kurogiri replied. "Tomura Shigaraki is expecting us."
"Very well. I shall leave her with a handkerchief to clean her body with and a roll of tape, to ensure she doesn't lose too much blood in her while we leave."
"Goodbye, hero! Hope to see you again soon!"

When the two slowly start to disappear, I looked up towards the portal which was slowly fading away.

"Now's my chance!" I thought to myself as I started to run towards the warp gate.

However, it became difficult for me to get up with all the pain, but with the few amount of items Compress left behind me, I ran as best I could to get out safely. Right when my body went through the gate, I felt like falling towards the destination I was going to: a dark alleyway. I slowly got up, realizing I was finally free.

"I need to find dad again! I just-"

Before I could move, my body ached from head to toe, allowing myself to fall towards the ground. Those amounts of stab wounds were really hitting me hard. With the rag on my hand, I started to wipe all the blood off my body as best as I could. Then, with the tape, I started to wrap the injuries on my body. It was hurting like crazy, but it had to work for the moment.

"I need to find out where I am before moving forward," I thought to myself. "But I don't even know where I am anymore."

I then hear cars and people on the streets not far from me.

"Maybe... I can ask someone for help. Then they could help me."

With all the strength I had left in me, I started to walk, then run towards the light to see whoever I can find. Suddenly, just when my full body was covered through the light, I bumped into someone in a green costume and fell on the ground. My head started to hurt, body started to shake, and fear consumed me greatly.

"Whoa, I'm sorry." the voice spoke to me. "You took a tumble."

His hand started to stretch towards me, but I backed away from the person.

"Are you alright? Can I help you up?"

With one touch of his hands, I started to cry, my body trembling in fear.

'Please... don't hurt me! I don't want to die!'

** Midoryia's POV: Few Minutes Earlier **

"We need to keep looking for her!" Mirio replied to me as we patrolled the city streets. "She must be out here somewhere."

It had been a few months since her disappearance and Sir Nighteye advised all of the Pro Heroes to find her. It was hard for Sir to be this desperate to find her, but worse with Mirio. He hasn't smiled once after her disappearance. All I could see in his eyes were anger and frustration.

"Maybe we should take a break?" I suggested, "we've been taking patrols all morning and no lunch break for two weeks."
"Take a break? YN is in critical danger and you want to take a break?!"
"Mirio, that's not what I-"
"I'm not going to stop until she's safe! And neither should you!"

He walked away from me, with such anger and frustration.

'I know you worry about her,' I thought to myself, 'just don't let your hatred get the better of you.'

I started to walk beside him when a small figure bumped on the side of me. When I turned aside, it was a little girl with silver-like hair, a small horn on the face, and covered up bandages all over her arms and legs.

"Whoa, I'm sorry." I spoke calmly. "You took a tumble."

As my hand started to stretch towards her, she slowly backed away from me. It's as if she was afraid to be touched.

"Are you alright? Can I help you up?"

With my hand trying to get her up, tears started to fall, trembling in fear.

'What should I do?' I pondered to myself as she sits there trembled. 'What would a hero do in this situation? She's shaking like a leaf, not letting me get close to her. If I touch her with my hand, she'll cry. Maybe I'll ask Mirio and see what we should do.'
"H...hey, Mir-"

Before my lips uttered his name, a small tug was held by the sleeve. I looked down, seeing her close to my chest.

'What is she doing?'
"Please... help me..." the little girl cried lightly. "I...I don't want to be alone. Please... Don't leave me..."

Her desperate plea started to ache in my heart. I couldn't just abandon her like this, not when she's asking for help. A real hero shouldn't leave someone in trouble.

"I won't. Please tell me your name."
"I..."

Just as she was about to say her name, she leaned towards my chest, unconscious, but breathing just a bit.

"Hey, hey, whoa. Miss, are you okay."

I touched her head to see if she was feeling okay, but her forehead was burning up. She was running a high fever.

"Midoriya, why are you on the ground? We need to get moving." Mirio called out
"I-I know. It's just... this little girl. Her body's shaking and she doesn't look okay. She's got bandages all around her and her head's getting hot. She's running a fever."
"A fever?! This is bad. We need to get her to Recovery Girl and quick!"
"Right."

With all my strength, I carried her in my arms as Mirio and I ran back to UA.

"Don't worry, little one!" I promised in my heart, "We're going to take care of you!"
