Oh dear...I am going to feel like such an idiot making this. Incineroar went from 0-100 in my eyes. I used to hate it, and now its going to be a cool character in Pokemon City. Sometimes your opinions of pokemon change for the better, and that is what happened with me and incineroar. I know I used to hate this pokemon, and as a delphox and cinderace fan, I have been an idiot and a hypocrite so please accept my apology...now time for the roasting of my past self!!

Common reasons people hate incineroar (and why I used to hate it):

"Should have been a quadruped!!!"

Me: Trust me, I understand, but since I love cinderace and delphox and they're bipedal, I now longer see this as a valid reason for me to dislike incineroar. Yes, this pokemon line did seem like it was going to be quadrupedal, but honestly incineroar is actually pretty cool looking nonetheless, and if you like other biped pokemon like lucario, then shut your mouth.

"It's sooooo ugly!!!!!!"

Me: I get it, I used to think this too, but emboar is still worse and I don't even hate emboar. When I have heard people say that incineroar looks cool and intimidating, I am honestly starting to see that now.

"Furry alert! FURRY ALERT!!!"

Me: Too many other pokemon already look like furries...let's just get over it.

Reasons you (and my past self) should like incineroar:

1. Along with primarina, its great in competative, and a great Alola starter to choose. I hate to say this about decidueye, but it truly sucks in competative compared to the other two.

2. Honestly, its just pretty cool and looks like it can kick butt. This pokemon looks intimidating, and while I usually don't care for intimidating pokemon, its what actually draws me to this pokemon.

3. JJJOOOOHHNNNN CENNNAAAAAAAA!!!!!

4. I am a cat person, and if you like cats then you should like incineroar.

5. Has an awesome typing with fire helping it resist fairy while being a dark type, and fairy is a powerful type right now so at least it will be able to survive a hit.

6. I'm now starting to believe that human-like pokemon are cool, incineroar shows a lot of personality and more human-like starters are making the pokemon more relatable to yourself. It's hard to relate to a typholsion which doesn't have much personality at all, but the more recent gens of starters have a ton of personality, and I love that so much.
