Marcus woke up and looked around the room, trying to blink the sleep out of his eyes. He was extremely tired still, his head was pounding, and it hurt to swallow. When his feet touched the floor he shivered a little even though the room wasn't cold. He ignored all the clear signs that he was sick and pushed himself out of bed. He was supposed to be going on a date with Severine, before he went into work tonight, and wasn't going to let feeling like crap stop him. He stumbled out to the kitchen where Severine was making breakfast.

"Morning," Severine said looking up with a smile that faded slightly when he actually saw him, "You kind of look like crap."

"Wow, thanks," he said dryly, sitting down at the table.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. You just look like you don't feel good. Do you not feel good?" he asked, watching him closely.

"I feel fine," he lied. He repressed the urge to shiver again.

Severine looked at him a moment longer then turned back to the stove, he brought over a plate of pancakes and set them down. He looked at them for a minute before taking one, he didn't feel like eating but knew the heat would help with the scratchy feeling in his throat. He managed to eat it, Severine watching him the whole time from the opposite side of the table. He stood up and walked over to him and before he knew what he was doing he pressed his lips against his forehead.

"I knew it. You don't feel good. You have a fever," Severine stated matter of factually.

"I'm fine," he said again. He hoped his voice didn't sound as whiny as he thought it did.

"No, you're not. Go back to bed," Severine demanded.

"No. I don't want to," he said stubbornly, pushing his plate towards the middle of the table.

Severine sighed, "I'm not joking. Do not make me pick you up and take you there."

He contemplated making him, then decided against it. He stood up mumbling under his breath and stalked towards his room, Severine marching behind him. He fell onto the bed and looked at him leaning against the door frame.

"I'm in bed," he said begrudgingly.

"Good, and you're going to stay there," Severine informed him, "go back to sleep. I'll come in and check on you later."

He continued mumbling at him under his breath but was asleep again before Severine even made it to the end of the hall.

Marcus was chasing Caspian down the boardwalk, they were both laughing. When they reached the end they stopped, breathing hard, and stared out at the water. The sun was setting and the lively night lights were starting to turn on. He had his face turned towards the sun enjoying the last warmth of it on his face. He turned to look at Cas who was staring at him.

"I miss you," Cas told him, a sad look in his eyes.

"What do you mean? I'm right here," he responded, ruffling his hair. The sun finally set under the water and he felt cold.

Cas smiled at him sadly and turned around taking off without warning. Surprised he turned to follow but quickly lost him in the crowd. He looked around frantically but couldn't see him. His heart was beating fast, he was trying not to panic but it wasn't working. Where had Cas gone? Why couldn't he see him?

"CAS!" he shouted.

He looked around but still didn't see him.

"Cas, this isn't funny. Where did you go?" he shouted again.

He kept running, he felt like the boardwalk was getting longer the more he panicked but he couldn't calm down. He had to find Cas.

"M."
