Marcus was pacing back and forth. They had been trying to come up with a plan and so far they hadn't come up with anything. Nora hadn't contributed much since all her ideas kept leading to the police. After suggesting it for a third time he had snapped at her and told her to stop talking unless she got another idea. His sister had surprisingly come to Nora's defense, before Nora could say anything herself, and told him he needed to not take his frustration out on others. He had tossed his phone on the couch then stood up and started pacing. He knew it wasn't Nora's fault and that he was wrong to snap at her but he was just so frustrated that they couldn't get a plan together. It shouldn't be that hard.

His sister was stuck on the idea of fighting and potentially killing Issac and Severine's dad. Nora had paled remarkably when she had suggested it. He understood where Zandra was coming from, she may not act like it but he knew she had cared about Cas more than she let any of the family, especially him, know. He also wouldn't mind seeing Issac getting a harsher punishment for what he had done but he didn't know if he had him in it to kill someone. And killing Severine's father would be a completely different story. He didn't like him and he knew if his father was killed it would hurt Severine and he didn't want that. He was walking back by the couch and kicked it in frustration.

"I bet that felt great," Zandra said.

"Shut up," he snapped.

He saw Zandra bristle, she was about to say something else but Nora jumped in, "I think you should go lay down Marcus. I know you've hardly slept and you haven't eaten much either."

"I'm fine. We need to figure this out," he said. He knew he looked like shit. There were bags under his eyes and they were red from rubbing the heels of his hands against them in frustration.

"You're not fine. You're a mess. You need to get some sleep then get some food in you. Letting yourself get run down isn't going to help anything. And if Severine saw you like this he'd only feel worse," she said.

"Wow, that was a low blow, and you know it," he said. He hated to admit it but he knew she was right.

"Yup, I'm good at those girlfriend. Now go take your cranky ass to bed and try to get some sleep," she said with a smile.
