"Hi," I whisper once she's opened the door.
"What? Are you here to steal Francesco from me?" She asks, disgusted.
"What?" I question. "I wasn't trying to-." I stop myself from talking once I realize what she's talking about.
"I'm sorry, but I don't really want to talk to you right now." She sighs slowly closing the door.
Without hesitation, I stop her from shutting it by sticking out my leg. "Wait, Amelia. Please, listen to my side of the story for once in your life. I hate how you always look down at me. You called me names and always accused me of stealing your boyfriends because of your own insecurities."
She looks at me and starts breaking down. "I'm sorry, Arabella. I'm just jealous of how perfect you are. You look perfect, you act perfect, you have a perfect relationship and you have at least 3 guys trying to chase after you." She babbles hugging me tightly.
"I'm jealous at how perfect you are and I wish I could be you. I only became a stripper so I could hear people call me attractive but once I brought you to the place people didn't care as much and since you stopped coming and I lost my job." She continues.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask.
"Because I didn't want to bother you. You had your own issues to deal with and I didn't want to add mine. I love you, Arabella. You're the greatest friend anyone in this world could have and Vincenzo is lucky to have finally had sex with you yesterday."
I pull away frowning at her. "That's why I'm here. Can I please stay here for a couple of days? And to pay you I'll come back to the strip club and strip one more time so you can get your job back, or better yet, a more decent one." I suggest.
"Of course, but what happened with you and Vincenzo?"
~
"That sneaky son of a bitch!" She exclaims dropping her coffee on the kitchen counter.
"You didn't know?" I ask, trying to hold back tears.
"There was this time he was gone for a while and didn't come to check on you for 8 days which was strange because he basically lived in your hospital room." She informs me. "I'm guessing that's when he linked up with Claire."
I sigh, thinking of all the bullcrap he told me. "He looked quite stressed when he left and even more stressed when he came back but after that day he came back he was back to his usual self" She continues.
He told me he loved me. He said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.
"Arabella, I know you're deep in your feelings right now so you can let it out." She smiles embracing me.
I cry hard on her shoulder thinking of my horrible relationship with Vincenzo. I knew it was a mistake the minute I saw who I was working for. He doesn't love me. He doesn't care about me. But that's fine because I'll forget him.

The first week of exams is over!!! I'm a little less stressed.
Updating schedule is going to be more or less the same. Wednesdays, Friday and Sunday. Since I finish exams on Friday. Then we'll go back to the original posting but a little fewer updates because I'm not exactly done with the spin-off yet, lol.
