Chapter Twenty Five

It seemed to be the longest day ever. I was completely exhausted so I decided to serve him dinner an hour early. I knock on his door and don't hear a response. I slowly open his door to see him on the phone talking.

He looks over at me, to the food and back at his phone. "I'll call you later Zia Bianca." He says cutting the call. "Why is my food here so early?" He questions.

"I'm so tired, I really need to sleep." I respond, dropping his tray on his lap. "You don't mind?"

He takes off the tray from his lap and pulls me to sit on it. "Mr-."

"Yeah, yeah, I know, you have a boyfriend called Francesco." He groans and pushes his face into the crook of my neck.

"I never told you his name," I speak slyly.

"Aurora told me." He responds.

The silence between us was enough to put me to sleep. I didn't mind it too much. The silence with him felt kind of, right?

"How old are you?" I ask randomly.

He looks up to me with a confused look. "You don't know how old I am?" I shyly shake my head. "Well, I'm young enough to not make this sexual chemistry weird." He shrugs.

I look at him expecting a real answer. "Okay, fine. I think I'm, 26 or 27, I'm not sure." He responds honestly.

"You don't know your own age?" I chuckle.

"I haven't celebrated my birthday in a long time. The last birthday I had my parents were still around." He explains with a sigh, gripping onto my thigh.

I rub his hand, soothingly so he'd calm down. "I promise to throw you a birthday party." I whisper. "When's your birthday?"

"December 15th."

I think about when that is and realize that it's not too far away.

"Okay," I whisper. "Do you want to tell me what happened to them?" I ask, still rubbing his hand.

"They were murdered by some jackasses." He spits with anger.

"That's all you need to say, don't worry. Eat your food then sleep." I say hugging his head.

SEEEE! They don't have to be in a relationship to have sweet moments together.

Remember when I said you guys would have a triple update? Chapter 28 will be out by today, don't worry. I'm kinda busy reading Shakespeare for school.
