Colourblindness

George will not mention that he is colourblind unless it comes up or he is struggling with something. He wouldn't mention is if it had nothing to do with anything like tf, he isn't going to be like:


"Omg Emma your t-shirt is so cool it's red to you but brown for me." Gorg scratches his head nervously.
"Hehe silly George, why is it brown for you and red for me?" Emma asks inquisitively.
"Well, you see, I am colourblind!" George smiles.

Like no, piss off, he's just going to be like- 'oh a red shirt, okay'. Colourblind people don't tell you what they see because what they see is their own version of that colour; they would still call that colour its name because they don't necessarily know that they're seeing a different colour.

I mean I'm not colourblind myself, but my interactions with people who have this do not point out the difference in colours because they don't know any different to what they've already been seeing their entire life.

I get it is you have a scene where he's struggling to see the difference between two objects, but otherwise, why does it need to be mentioned?
