Chapter five

"y/n, wake up"

"Merlin? what is it?" I say slowly opening my eyes to merlin shaking me awake

"I need you to trust me, the dragon who I visited" I mumble in understanding "Well he wishes to speak to you"

"Really?" I question a little more awake now. "yes, now please come with me" sighing I get up and follow him. After sneaking around the castle we get to an entrance, Merlin takes my hand in reassurance and leads me through the tunnel. Upon our presence, The great dragon flies down to meet us.

"Hello, I'm y/n"

"Your highness" The dragon bows his head in respect "Who else could it be. You carry yourself a certain way y/n"

"How do I carry myself?"

"With confidence, humbility, and courage, qualities that of a knight. More than any maiden Camelot will ever see."

"How do you know me? Why do you speak like I am special? why did you ask for me?"

"I must have forgotten curious, you are very curious. You carry a destiny, a significant destiny in uniting Albion and in aiding Arthur and Merlin."

"That's it? you barely answered my questions"

"It is all you need to know for now" And motions for us to leave, I glance at Merlin and he nods to go. Just as I am about to leave I ask "Earlier you called me your highness, I am merely a serving girl why say that?"

"You will aid Arthur and Merlin"

"yes but-" I get cut off as he flies away, Merlin turns and once again takes my hand and we walk while I try to figure out what The dragon meant.
