SCOTT KNOCKED ON THE DOOR TWICE, MAKING AMELIA LOOK UP FROM HER JOURNAL.

"What's up?" She asked. "You don't look alright."

Scott breathed in heavily. "I need protection."

Amelia closed the journal quickly, standing up from the bed and walking towards Scott, confused.

"What are you talking about?" She questioned as he started walking towards the hallway, Amelia being quick to follow him.

"Hunters," he replied. "You won't believe this, Amy, but hunters... for me they are scarier than anything we've ever faced. And we've faced a lot of things."

Amelia nodded softly as she grabbed the keys to the jeep. "Where are we going?"

"I need you to tell me everything." Amelia looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "Amelia, you're a trained hunter. And I trust you more than anyone. Just please... I need to know how do they move, I need to know how do they hunt. I need..."

She placed her hands on his arms. "Scott... breath." He nodded, breathing in deeply. "I'll teach you."

"Really?" She nodded.

"I haven't taught anyone since Lizzie, so I kinda feel special. And relevant again," she joked, making Scott chuckle. "I won't let the hunters get to you. Or anyone as for that matter. And they will never see me coming."

Scott frowned a bit as they got out of the house. "How do Sealgairs achieve to not make a sound as they move? Because I can never hear you coming." Amelia smiled a bit.

"It's one of our talents. And, you won't believe this but... you can do it too." He looked at her confused as they both got in the jeep. "Not only I have your speed and hearing, but you have some of my abilities. Like not making a sound when you walk, and being able to hide your heartbeat. The second one won't be much help since, well, humans are hunting you. But, trust me, there's a lot of things you can do." She started the engine.

"How come you never told me?"

"Well, honestly I thought that my abilities wouldn't be useful for you. And it's different from learning how to control werewolf powers. It's actually, the other way around."

"What do you mean?"

Amelia exhaled. "Werewolves without training or new werewolves tend to not be able to control their smell, their hearing. It's like their powers are amplified by ten. You learn how to control it. For Sealgairs, you don't have your powers until you try. It's harder because you have to find something that isn't there until you activate it."

Amelia was about to drive backwards when someone standing on the driveway stopped her, making both Scott and Amelia look at her with their eyes wide opened.
