w a rSCOTT SLAMMED THE LACROSSE STICK WITH BLOOD ON THE TABLE.
"They were murdered," said Scott as Argent looked towards Amelia, who simply shrugged. "Killed by the new hunter in Beacon Hills. You know, when he took out the Hellhound, we thought it was luck. That we were dealing with an amateur. But now we know that whoever this new hunter is, he has a teacher."
"Gerard," talked Argent. "Which means this is my fault. I'm the one who let him go."
"You couldn't have done anything," assured him Amelia but Malia was quick to disagree.
"He could've killed him." Argent nodded. "Just saying."
Amelia looked at the werecoyote for a few seconds before looking at Argent. "Look... I tried to tell them everything they should know. Give them advice... but..."
"I know," stopped her Argent. "And I appreciate your intentions, but Argents and Sealgairs work differently. So, Amelia won't be much help for you guys," he informed and Isaac scoffed.
"So I learned the difference of a recurve bow and a compound bow for nothing?"
Argent looked at Amelia and she shrugged. "That's how my dad started teaching me."
He shook his head. "Yeah, Amelia is not help here, so forget everything she said."
"Even the smell thing?" Asked Malia. "The «don't trust your smell» thing?"
Argent nodded a bit. "That's actually a good advice." Amelia smiled. "We'll talk about it later. The point is that Gerard is building an army. He wants war."
Scott interrupted. "I've been thinking about Amelia's speech from last night and decided that... we're gonna make peace."
Lydia raised an eyebrow. "With Gerard?"
"Lydia, you know what's coming. We all keep using the same word."
Amelia crossed her arms in front of her chest. "War?" Scott nodded.
Malia looked at them. "So what stood a war from happening?"
"Peace summit," mentioned Argent.
"Right," agreed Scott. "We meet face-to-face with Gerard. Find out what he wants and then we stop all this before it gets any worse and Amelia will actually have to teach us how to use a combined bow."
"Compound bow," Amelia and Argent corrected him at the same time, and the werewolf frowned.
"Same thing."
Lydia placed her hands on the table. "Last time Gerard was at a peace meet was with Deucalion. He blinded him and then killed everybody else, including his own men."
