Plot: You are an assassin going to kill Anastacius, but he gave you a surprise before Anastaciius became the emperor, you are the same age, 14. Anastacius is almost going to become emperor at the age of 15 which is very near.

⚠️ Warning: I haven't watched/read the whole thing, so sorry if it's OOC, or weird. This contains gay content, and some contain lime/lemon/smut and colorful language. Do not apply the character's actions to real life, consequences will not be my fault.

Sneaking into the place is hard. Especially when your target is the crown prince of the empire, Anastacius de Alger Obelia. (Y/n) jump from roof to roof with a map in front of him. Somehow his boss was able to obtain a map of the castle, most likely from a guard who sold the map of the castle.

Arriving at the room where the prince is supposed to be sleeping, (Y/n) looked around and opened the window.

Climbing through the window, turning around to close it. (Y/n) faced the bed where the prince should be... but he wasn't there. (Y/n) looked around confused and annoyed, 'They told me he was going to be here, now I have to find him.'

Noticing a glint in the corners of his eye, (Y/n) turned around immediately and caught the hand of the person, holding the dagger. You looked up to see who the other person was...It was your target, Anastacius de Alger Obelia.

The ladder's eyes widened, it was the first time someone was able to block his attack. The attacks started to get faster and faster, but (Y/n) was still able to keep up. After a few hours of playing, both of you were panting sitting on the ground.

(Y/n) suddenly laugh "Hahahaha!", "Why are you *pant*  laughing?" (Y/n) looked at the prince still laughing, he was holding his stomach rolling on the ground.

The guards heard the noises and rushed in. (Y/n) who heard the footsteps beforehand hid already inside the cabinet. "Your Highness, is everything alright?" the person said on the other side of the door.

Anastacius hesitated to answer, he looked at where (Y/n) was hiding "Yes, I'm fine." ha answered after confining that you were no threat.

After a short conversation, the guard left and walked away. (Y/n) same out a few seconds later."We should do that again! That was so fun, I haven't had fun for so long... I almost forgot how to laugh." (Y/n) whispered this time. Then beamed at Anastacius, the moon shining on his face making him look like an angel. (H/c) sticking to his forehead from the sweat making his hair shinier than before.

"Stop joking around, you came to assassinate me right?" The air immediately turned tense. (Y/n) smirked and walked up to Anastacius and leaned forward. "I... changed my mind, I'm not going to kill you," Anastacius shuts his eyes tight when (Y/n) was leaning closer. "Yet."

When Anastacius opened his eyes after the last word. (Y/n) have already disappeared.

"H-hun?" Having been caught off guard he blinked, the wind from the open window blew the curtain and onto his face, the prince looked out the window to see a figure jumping. The moon was behind the figure, making up a beautiful picture.

The next night Prince Anastacius was still thinking about the boy that came to his room. The window opened and the same boy came in from the window, again. "Hi!" Why did you come again..." you frowned at his words and walked up to the bed where he was sitting. "Come on why can't I?"

"I need sleep." Even though Anastacius will never admit it, but after (Y/n) left he had the best sleep he ever had. Usually, he's all tense and had little insomnia, sometimes he even needed sleeping pills.

"How about we get to know more about each other. My name is (Y/n)." (Y/n) suggested and introduced stretching out his hand. Anastacius sighed and went along with it and took the handshake.

Every night (Y/n) came to Anastasius's room to talk about their day, it's a routine for the two now, every day at midnight you can hear chattering and laughter in Anastacius's room. This has been going on for a few months and they became best friends.

But when the crowning ceremony is coming near. Anastacius never told (Y/n) that, he's been so busy for it. Every night since then (Y/n) would come over only to see a sleeping Anastacius. (Y/n) smile at the sleeping figure and left with a feeling of loneliness shadowing over himself.
