Title: Misunderstanding

Plot: Set up in a modern world where (Y/n) has been chasing Hak for a while. But upon stumbling into a scene his heart was broken. But even more, drama followed up afterward to the point (Y/n) didn't know what to say anymore.

"Hak! You look good today!"
"Hak! I need help with math, it's so hard."
"It's amazing how you're so smart, Hak."

Those are just some of the things (Y/n) would say daily. He's been chasing Hak for some time now and has said countless compliments. Sometimes Hak would even flirt back. Each time he did that (Y/n) would have a stupid smile on his face for the rest of the day.

It was afternoon and the last rings signaling it was the end of the last class. (Y/n) was still sitting down by his desk trying to figure out a problem the teacher was helping him with, wanting (Y/n) to succeed in their class.

Some time passed by and (Y/n) stood up from his seat and finished his work for the day. He said his thanks to the teacher and ran out excited to see Hak. He didn't think it'll take that long for him to finish up the paper.

He reached the school entrance where they agreed to meet up. But seeing the other two were nowhere to be found (Y/n) just left the spot. He was the one late without even texting them about the full situation anyway, just telling them to leave first before him wasn't enough.

The three were friends since high school orientation. They bumped into each other in the hallways and instantly clicked. Joking and annoying each other daily, just friends. It wasn't until the junior year (Y/n) started to notice his feelings for Hak, he was super open about his feelings but he just never got an answer.

He wasn't rejected or accepted, just maybe. Of course, that's when (Y/n) started giving gifts and compliments wanting to win Hak over.

It was around 3:30 pm and (Y/n) was on the road to his house texting Hak and Yona in their group chat asking where they were and if they could hang out. Yona texted back that she was home but Hak didn't respond.

(Y/n) was about to ask where he was and from the corner of his eyes, he spotted him across the street.

No... them.

Hak was with someone. They were a girl with long hair, a skirt, and a large chest. She even had their school uniform from their school.

He watched as she tip-toed up.

He watched as her face got closer to Haks.

He watched as she kissed him.

Tears filled (Y/n)'s eyes and dread filled his heart as he watched them kiss, he was too far away to notice the shocked blue eyes of Hak's. (Y/n) had too many questions running through his head. Was Hak leading him the whole time? Was he just toying with his feelings? Was this whole thing a joke?

(Y/n) peeled his eyes off of the scene as he slowly walked away blending into the crowded streets silent tears sliding off his face.

Today he didn't just lose his crush, he lost a friend as well. He didn't mind if Hak only wanted to be friends, knowing the other was happy was his first thought. He looked at his phone again, tears hitting the glass screen and sliding off onto the ground.
