Charles and I sat down at our desks in English waiting for our teacher to show up. One of Charles friends came over to us and leaned on his desk "so you using her to do your homework?" Overhearing what he said I looked over with squinted eyes. "No, get the fuck out of here" Charles said protectively pushing the boy away. "He's just messing" he said while turning his attention towards me again "I know" I said with a smile.

   In the middle of the lesson I dropped my pencil on accident this time. I leaned over to get it from the ground but a hand met mine, I look up to see the adorable red head, noticing our faces were super close to each other. At the opportunity he tilted his head to meet my lips. We stayed there for a few seconds not realizing we were in the middle of an English lesson. Lost in each other we kept kissing lightly until someone interrupted us.

   "Um guys?" Mrs. Smith said with confusion. The majority of the the class looked back towards us. Realizing what was happening we quickly pull away from each other and sit normally at our desks like that never happened. We heard a few giggles and 'ews' coming from the class. "What in the world do you two think you're doing?" She asked us in a stern voice making the rest of the class look at us. "I- um-" I stuttered, "she dropped her pencil" Charles interrupted. "Yeah right" she said in disbelief. I leaned down to my pencil again picking it up and holding it so the teacher can see the evidence. "See?" I said with a nervous smile. She then faced the front while shaking her head leaving me and Charles to quietly giggle.

   The second bell rang meaning it's now time for my math class. "Sooo" Ben asked me in a teasing voice. "You and Charles huh?" He said looking at me while wiggling his eyebrows. "Oh shut up" I said lightly pushing him. "I've heard all about Friday night" he was now leaning on his right arm on the desk with his whole body facing me. I blushed at the thought of us on the Farris wheel making out for the first time. "Y'all are cute together" "thanks" I said still blushing.

   "Ya know, prom is coming the end of this semester" Ben said winking at me then followed by a few eyebrow wiggles. "Oh yeah! Thank god I went to this school at this time instead of a semester ago" I said awkwardly giggling. "You think Charles would go with me?" I asked concerned. Ben then gave me the nastiest look ever like he was looking at a rat covered in vomit. "Are you dumb? He's in love with you!" I look down playing with my fingers from my stupid question.

At lunch Charles and I sat next to each other talking and eating our lunch ignoring everything around us. Charles fed me some of his brownie, "hey love birds!" Ben shouted from across the table knowing we would just ignore him if he didn't shout. We jumped at the sudden notice looking over at him. "You guys are making me sick" Ben said while stuffing his face with Doritos.

Charles wasn't going to let Ben get away with that so let leaned into me and kissed me on the lips for a good five seconds. A little before we broke away we looked over to Ben making him gag. Charles and I laughed at his reaction.

   I slid my hand into his wanting to be as close as possible to him. "Ya know I think I'm in love with you Shay" Charles said looking into my eyes making my heart melt. Instead of responding I just kiss him passionately. That earned us a loud "UGHH" from Ben trying to eat his sandwich. "Stop watching if you're that jealous princess" Charles said to Ben jokingly. "Well it's hard not to when you two are literally sitting in front of me" Ben said annoyed.

   "When's lunch over?" I ask. "In about ten minutes, why?" Charles said. "Oh I just need to use the restroom I'll be right back". I sat up and started to walk to the restroom earning a few glares from a few girls.

   When I was done doing my business I begin to wash my hands. I look over to my left to see this short haired blonde girl talking to another girl but I couldn't see the blondes face. She turned around and then I realized it was Lucy. We made eye contact for a second before I put my head down trying to avoid her. "So," she said getting closer to me. "Want to tell me why you're hanging out with that betrayer?" I look up to her noticing all the girls in the bathroom had their eyes glued to us. "Ben, then Charles, now you" she definitely was intimidating. "I-i uh" I stuttered

   "Why are you making such a big deal about this Lucy?" "Cause we are all sick of you fakes coming and going." She then leaned into my ear and said "I also had a crush on Charles until you took him" I leaned back getting away from her "but you're dating Rami?" I asked more as a statement than a question. Another girl chimed in and said "well it's girl code sis so back off" damn this school has so many toxic girls. "I didn't know she liked him! Lucy never told me" I said defensively towards this girl that backed Lucy up.

   At the perfect moment Charlotte and her two little friends came into the bathroom noticing the arguments in the bathroom. Amelia walked over to me getting really close making me have to look down at the short girl. "You took my boyfriend Shay, you fucking slut". Amelia said in a bitchy way getting even closer. "You stole her man??!" Lucy asked. "I didn't! they weren't dating in the first place!" I defended. "Well he lied to you hun" Charlotte said in a bitchy tone. "I can't believe you guys! I'm happy in a relationship and you're all coming for me about it". "Lucy and you were friends so that's fucked up" the girl that backed Lucy up earlier said.

   I pushed my way out of the bathroom walking out with a few tears in my eyes to see Charles standing close by with my backpack. "Lunch was almost over so I thought I'd just meet yo- what's wrong?" He said concerned after noticing my tears. I just hugged him for comfort trying to calm down in his embrace.
