rhys rolls her eyes in amusement at the blue and yellow paladin being silly. hunk had somehow woken himself up with his own snoring, which was funny in itself.

"you've been asleep for three hours," pidge says loudly to the older paladin, who smiles sheepishly.

turning back to the holographic model of zarkon's command ship, she sighs heavily. the last time she had launched an attack on the central command, she had been so close to killing him. but haggar had used her magic and somehow sliced one of her wings.

speaking of her wings, they were out and proud at the moment, earning the occasional glance from the others.

"i think we've got something here. it's dangerous and there are a lot of moving parts, but if we can coordinate everything just right, then-" shiro starts, but kolivan finished his sentence, saying, "zarkon's reign will be at an end, and the savagery that's poisoned our universe can finally be cleansed. you've done it, shiro."

the man smiles and holds out his hand. "we did it together."

the marmoran leader hesitates before taking his hand in a sign of alliance.

but the princess had to judge mentally cut in. "as long as we all stick to the plan, it should work."

"it will work. perhaps, then, you'll learn that not all galra are as bad as zarkon," kolivan retorts calmly, a small smirk growing on the commander's lips. allura sent a look to keith, who was staring off into space, and the noxian immediately scowls as she says, "i hope not."

kolivan, upon noticing the dark glare that was being directed at the princess, sent a look to the noxian. noticing it, she nods subtly and returns to her neutral expression, but kept her eyes trained on the conflicted boy.

"ulaz was right to trust you all," antok states, bringing the two back to the conversation.

"he sacrificed everything to bring us together. lets honor him by taking down zarkon."

rhys tuned out as lance comically explained the plan to the newly awakened yellow paladin, her thoughts drifting to what happened during keith's final trial. it still confused her how it had come up with that bit about her needing to tell him something, and she was wondering if his subconscious knew.

snapping out of her thoughts, she hears pidge ask, "i guess the only question is, when do we strike?"

"as soon as we build a teledav big enough to wormhole zarkon's ship," coran answers, bringing up another image of a huge teledav.

"oh, man. the teledav again? does that mean we need more scaultrite?" hunk complains, earning a light chuckle from rhys.

"it means we need a lot of scaultrite," she says, immediately frowning when allura speaks up while she was still speaking.

"that's just one of the many things we'll need."

"am i, uh... am i sensing a trip back to the space mall here?"

"i'm afraid not. like rhys said, this is gonna take a lot more scaultrite than we can find in any unilu shop. for this plan to succeed, we're gonna need to split up. we all have a task to do."

after the jobs were divided up, they all went to the lion hangars to wish the others goodbye.

rhys stood off to the side, glaring at the princess once again as she rudely ignored keith again. rolling her eyes, she meant to leave, but stopped when the boy called out for her.

"rhys!"

turning back to him, she raises an eyebrow and uncrosses her arms. she gives him a light smile, trying to show she wasn't hostile to him like allura was unrightfully being.
